Chef Matteo Zamboni showcases the best of Australian produce in a menu filled with seasonal inspiration from Italy’s most famous regions (try; Beef Carpaccio, Prawn Mafalde, Mandarin Duck). Sommelier extraordinarrie Luke Collard helps you to captivate the essence of your meal with a profound wine selection.

Civico has garnered a Chef's Hat & two Wine Goblet's in each year of operation but with it's casual-fine dining interior feel and style, it is perfectly suited for an intimate dinner for two, for larger catch ups or group lunches/dinners with family and friends. Renowned educator and 'friendly Sommelier" Luke Collard has developed an excellent Italian-dominated wine list for Civico 47 and now, he’s sharing his knowledge with you. Join us as Luke takes us on an educational journey through Italy's specific regions, with a new region every month. Chef Matteo will be designing bespoke, regional menu pairings for each school, so no two will be the same! Long-table places are limited to around 12 people per session. No prerequisite knowledge of wine or Italy is required, just bring your palette. Please note: Any cancellations within 7 days of the event will not be refunded, unless at the discretion of management.

If you’ve got a something special at home, or have a favourite wine that’s not on our list - now’s your chance to bring it with you and enjoy at Civico along side chef Matteo Zamboni’s modern Italian menu. Corkage is $25 per bottle at lunch and dinner (Thursdays only). We have beautiful Plumm glassware, decanters where required, and advice on food pairing from our resident sommelier Luke Collard. T&C’s: Maximum one 750ml bottle (or equivalent) per adult customer. Not available when dining on our Pranzo or First Table offers. BYO is at our discretion for groups of 7 or more, please speak to the restaurant for more information.

Outstanding food in a beautifully decorated, cozy little restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The dry aged duck was a highlight! So flavorful and perfectly cooked! Highly recommended!

I’ve had to wait a long time to get to try civico 47 as I don’t leave in Sydney but it was worth the wait. The duck was amazing and so was the fish of the day and Zuppa inglese was a wonderful surprise. We paired it all with a great Malvasia Fiano from apulia and it was amazing. Great atmosphere, superior services and lovely food. Truly recommend civico 47 to everyone.

The service was outstanding and the quality of the pasta very good but there was nothing exceptional about the food apart from an interesting (and delicious) interpretation of Zuppa Inglese.

Amazing dining experience. Our server was so so lovely and had a laugh with us. The food was absolutely incredible! 1 of the best focaccia breads ever and the truffle pasta was incredible!
