   First time at Clachan grill. Cosy restaurant, staff friendly and food great. Sticky toffee pudding was exceptional. Will definitely be returning and would recommend.

   We thoroughly enjoyed our meal in the Clachan Grill. Opting for the Sunday roast, we were treated to a generous portion of expertly cooked meat, accompanied by delicious vegetables, gravy and skirlie. Following that with stick toffee pudding, my husband (who's a sticky toffee pudding fan) declared it to be just right. The ambience and service was lovely. Well definitely be back.

   The food was excellent and served promptly. Service was very friendly and polite. Reasonably priced. Have been before and just as good every time we come. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you like steaks and locally sourced Scottish food. Alan Pedelty.

    This is one of our favourite restaurants for its relaxed charm and Scottish vibe. Exquisite food. Tasteful Christmas decor provided a softly lit atmosphere. It became busier throughout the course of our meal but noise levels were not intrusive. Courses were well timed, and meals arrived together. Our only criticism would be that despite being informed there were no further covers after ours, the table service felt a little “rushed”. Plates were placed abruptly; my starter landing half on and half off the table mat and no-one offered us any condiments or further drinks after our initial order. We came away with the impression they must have been understaffed on the evening but overall, a pleasant experience and we would absolutely go back. Bravo to the chef.
