   My 94 year old mother loved our dinner out. We try to take her out whenever she’s feeling up to it. She loves oysters and fully enjoyed trying the variety at Clark’s. Murder Points were her favorite. Loved the grits and French fries too!

   Mixed feelings from our first visit. Clearly, Clark's is a place with high goals/expectations and staff members working to deliver on them. It has received very good reviews from others. Yet it still felt a notch below that for us. The food was very attractive and mostly tasty, though some items had more seasoning/spices than we would have preferred, while others tasted good but not great. The service was very pleasant and helpful, though occasionally overlooked something or was a bit slow. In fairness, we're not oyster fans, so our focus was entirely on other menu items; oyster fans might have a better experience. We'll likely make another visit and try some of the items Mari, our very helpful waitress, suggested as being among their most popular items. Bottom line, we enjoyed our visit and certainly wouldn't discourage others from visiting, but didn't walk out saying "Wow!" or "We've got to come back soon!," which we had thought we might based on the excellent reviews we'd seen before coming today.

   Dined outside… pleasant venue, service prompt, food excellent! Red Snapper always perfect. Mac and cheese delicious. Butterscotch Pudding and Key Lime desserts some of the best in Houston. My neighborhood “go-to”…so glad they are in Montrose area!

   Best oysters and seafood in Houston. They bring in oysters from PEI, New Brunswick, Maine, Massachusetts, the Pacific Northwest, and even Texas. The branzino was perfectly fresh and cooked. Cal is an attentive server and Kaleigh the floor manager was charming and gracious. A must go to restaurant.

   The Kale salad had too much LEMON! The fries (while delicious) were not "potato" enough too thin loved the roasted GARLIC The Drinks were AMAZING, The Bar was great. The Soup was delicious The Wedge salad was spectacular

   The cioppino was the best I have had in Htown. Baked oysters need to be grilled to be excellent. Great martini. Will be back!

    Brought my seafood loving Grandmother here for her birthday. She absolutely loved it! And Mason was the coolest server ever!! He and his team gave great recommendations and everything was delicious and flavorful. Worth every penny. We sat on the patio and I felt like I was at a beach resort restaurant with the nice breeze and decor. Will definitely be back to Clark’s!
