Christina and Mike Grant, the owners of Coastal Kitchen, have created an experience that will delight and satisfy the most discerning guest. Fueled by their passion for food and a love of hospitality, the Grants have established Coastal Kitchen as the go-to spot in Dana Point. The menu is clean and fresh consisting of fish and steaks cut in house, great salads, freshly ground burgers and more. Coastal Kitchen has a full bar, patio with fire pits, and fresh coastal design.

Our mission is to deliver a quality dining experience in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere with a consistency that will bring guests back again and again. We look forward to serving you.

    I've never had a bad meal or bad experience at Coastal Kitchen. Once again, it was fantastic! Great food and great service. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    Ordered the salmon. It was just ok…pretty generic. I ordered it with the apricot glaze and thought it would be beautifully caramelized on the fish and it was not. Basically, it was apricot jam on the side. It was served with broccoli…just regular steamed boring broccoli with some Parmesan on it. Some nicely charred broccolini would’ve been fabulous and would’ve elevated the dish. My dish was something I’d make for a quick easy dinner at home when I don’t have much in the fridge—not what I’d expect to eat on a night out. I gave 4 starts because service was on point. Lovely staff.

    Love this restaurant ! The patio is my favorite spot. The food is great and they have my favorite Austin Hope Cab ! 🍷 Can’t wait to go back ❤️

    Caesar salad good but small. Halibut excellent. Pork chop tasty but warm not hot and loaded potato good. Served on a cold plate though Key lime pie excellent Server Cassidy attentive.

    Really great service overall, but I did find it odd that they didn’t offer or bring out a birthday dessert, even when they asked and clarified, three separate times, whose birthday was at our table

    Coastal kitchen never disappoints - I prefer clean, healthy protein heavy dishes and there are so many amazing choices for me there! Their fish is delicious, filet is the best and shrimp cocktail is like eating baby lobsters!! We love it and it’s always the go-to…service amazing too!

    We were greeted by warm and friendly hostesses, and the waitress was very attentive and prompt as well. The food was hot and prepared perfectly!

    Coastal Kitchen never disappoints! The trout dip appetizer is a 10/10! So good. Halibut, Cioppino, Crab Cakes, delicious. Service was outstanding and the holiday lights in Dana Point were amazing. I refer clients and friends to Coastal Kitchen frequently, because I know the experience will be well received. Headed back to CK next week, and yes the trout dip will be ordered!
