Christina and Mike Grant, the owners of Coastal Kitchen, have created an experience that will delight and satisfy the most discerning guest. Fueled by their passion for food and a love of hospitality, the Grants have established Coastal Kitchen as the go-to spot in Dana Point. The menu is clean and fresh consisting of fish and steaks cut in house, great salads, freshly ground burgers and more. Coastal Kitchen has a full bar, patio with fire pits, and fresh coastal design.

Our mission is to deliver a quality dining experience in a comfortable, friendly atmosphere with a consistency that will bring guests back again and again. We look forward to serving you.

    We had a reservation for 2 for 8:00pm and waited 30 minutes to be seated. While we waited we watched 4 staff rearrange 2 tables like it was musical chairs and then they wanted to seat us in one of those tables right by the door. I refused to sit by the door and requested the booth by the bar that they were completely unaware of it being open. The previous party had left about 20 minutes prior and the table sat un-bussed until I pointed it out to them. We ordered the crab cakes, which were really good, but I won’t be returning due to the staff’s negligence!

    Very disappointed in our most recent experience at Coastal Kitchen. Seems they have gone to burn & turn dining experience. Was my wife's birthday & we were excited to have a great dining experience at Coastal & it just seemed like they could not get us in & out fast enough... Rushed to order, courses not well timed & had not cleared dinner plates when dessert was brought out & dropped on table - simply no room on small table... needless to say, it was not the night we were expecting & as the birthday dessert melted while they cleared the table, we were charged for b-day dessert! Hope this evening was an exception...

    We celebrated grandparents day together and the experience was perfection! Great food, people and service. Everyone loved their dish!

    The food and service were excellent. Parking was a problem and the noise level was very high. There was a large party that may have contributed to the noise level so not sure if it is like that all the time.

    Absolutely fabulous evening, the pork chop is over the top best ever along with the Hawaiian ribeye and thank God the Chiopino is back on the menu!! Special thanks to the Coastal Kitchen team!

    One of our regular dinner places. They make the best Crab Cakes as it’s crispy and a lot of crab. In fact the breadcrumbs are only top and bottom! Delicious and the sauce that goes with it is yum! Service staff so nice and sweet. They make the best loaded baked potatoes as a side. Soon love their French dip and hot fudge sundae. The Pork-chop is a favorite as well! They are pet friendly too
