Delicious food. Expensive cocktails. Don’t ask for a name vodka in a mixed drink, it means a $4 extra charge leaving a cosmo at $20! Chefs specials were very good, creative and super yummy.

Very overpriced for the food. Ordered the beet and burrata salad and there was maybe slivers of a half of a beet with 2 tablespoons of burrata and some frisée... not close to being worth the $16. For the main entree I ordered the captains catch which was halibut. It was a decent sized serving but was dry and over cooked. The fingerling potatoes and spinach were ok but bland. The ambiance is very nice and the service was good as well. We were staying at the resort so the convenience was key.

omg — The She Crab Bisque ($14) is the best I have had, ever, in the world (76 years, 15 countries). Wonderful, friendly, low-country friendly service, led by a manager who clearly enjoys his job and his customers. Sure, this restaurant is in a resort, implying higher prices, but it delivers the taste, experience, and overall enjoyment of any non-resort first-class venue.

Food was very slow coming out and service was average. For the price you would expect better.

I highly recommend this place but skip the desserts! The service was amazing . We had a great server. The appetizers and entrees were fabulous. Very flavorful. One dish was better than the next . I would have given 5 stars but the desserts were a big disappointment. We sent them back . The “smores” tasted like a bottle of cinnamon with roasted cloves . The cream puff had no cream . The pastry chef tried to get too creative and missed. Classic example of ego over customer needs .

You get what you pay for here. It was a little expensive, but food was top-notch. Service was great, and bartender made a great espresso martini.

Super disappointing experience. No idea why they would say on their menu and on their website that they can accommodate/adjust menu items for those of us who are gluten free, when they don’t or won’t. Waiter basically had the attitude of “too bad for you, we don’t substitute”. Ended up with an appetizer that they took out the crackers and an entree that they took out the grains. No substitutions available. I’ve been GF for 5 years and never had a bad experience like this where the restaurant won’t even try to work with you. Especially for the prices here! They need to take that GF note OFF their menu! We would avoid at all costs, even if I wasn’t GF because their attitude was that they just don’t care.

The hostess greeting was very friendly. We had our choice of seats outside which is a very nice area. Our server was friendly and helpful, but often disappeared inside for long periods. Cocktails and wine were perfect. The she crab soup was EXTREMELY salty. I like salt, but it was a lot even for me. My wife and I both ordered cioppino. It was very tasty and the crispy bread provided was perfect for sopping up the broth. However, each bowl had four clams which barely opened. I was able to force mine open (which really isn’t recommended), but my wife could only easily open two. She wouldn’t chance it. We showed them to our server, but there was really no reaction. Not sure we’ll return.
