   Terrible. Simply Terrible. He is a class A Kimpton property with terrible place to eat. The staff was unprofessionally dressed, behaved unprofessionally. Our server was as snide as he was inattentive. He was rude to my spouse; carded our daughter; and breezed by, dumping dessert menus down, never stopping, only muttering, "try the creme brulee. It was Christmas night, so ok. We were willing to cut the Cobalt some slack. BUT, we you pay almost $200 for dinner for three people and ask for some bread and told, "sorry, we ran out," well that was the last straw for us. Been coming to the Kimpton Vero for a decade or more. We finally tried the Cobalt for a dinner. NEVER AGAIN. We would eat fast food before we ever would endure another night last last night.

   Disappointed in lack of service - the buffet food was cold - meat chewy and couldn't cut with knife. Only table service was when they brought us water. Had to get our own food and charged a $40.00 gratuity plus a $4.40 culinary gratuity. Selection of food was very,very limited. For the selection of food made available it was well over-priced at $110.00 per person. We were not aware of this until the bill was presented to us. Will not be eating there ever again, have made this available to friends and family in the area.

   The food was amazing and we sat outside just feet from the ocean on Christmas. What a great place.

   The Christmas Day buffet was good. The service was excellent, very attentive. However, we were not told the gratuity would be included with a culinary fee.

   Our waiter was awesome in explaining the specials and making recommendations for the table. Food was very good and portions were just right.

   So bad- we were greeted by a foul bowl of dead flowers on the hostess stand complete with fruit flies and stench. On Christmas Eve? Ordered caviar service - a jar with potato chips and tartar sauce- $100. Tried to recover but everything they brought out was worse than the last.

   We came for Christmas Eve dinner at 2pm hoping to enjoy the duck but were told that only lunch menu was available. No matter there were sufficient choices for us to enjoy. We both started with specialty drinks and crab cake then I enjoyed the salmon and Daniel enjoyed the skirt steak. We shared the key lime Pie some cappuccino with sambuca all while enjoying an ocean front view. Life does not get any better than this. Can’t wait to come back.

   We ate lunch there today and I wanted to take my family from out of state to a really nice restaurant. Unfortunately, the waitress ruined what would have been a really nice day for everyone and had provided us some very poor service. She seemed upset and rude when serving us and needs an attitude adjustment
