    We had a great experience, trying new dish is always a gamble but it was fun. Food well prepared. Welcoming staff. Would definitely recommend.

    The restaurant offers a choice of south indian cuisine. It is both un-pretentious and excellent, with simple but sofisticated flavours and textures. The experience is well worth the price. Do not miss it!

    The food was absolutely unique and delicious. Lovely use of spices and we were introduced to some Kerala food which we had not experienced in any other Indian restaurants. The service was excellent without being obtrusive. It was nice and quiet, so elderly people with hearing issues could converse easily. Our only concern is that we are vegetarian and there did not seem to be a lot of options so we were wondering in the interest of variety, what we would eat when we came again. We each chose an appetizer, which we shared, as well as two main courses which we shared. It was the right amount for the two of us. We shared a desert, only because I am not fond of sweets. I have their earlier cookbook, Coconut Lagoon, and I will take a closer look to see if I am able to make some of the recipes; may have to go to an Indian/Asian grocery store to get ingredients. There is an award winning cookbook, Tali, available at the restaurant. We are skinny people so we found it a little cold at the restaurant, so in winter wear a sweater.

    Great food! Mango shrimp curry was delicious! Service was wonderful :) Not noisy even with most tables full.

    Very good food, service attentive and beautiful atmosphere, only thing is the limited time aloud to dine. I don’t like to look at the time when I’m out dining.

    We (my husband, daughter and I) had a lovely dinner - the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent! There were so many wonderful choices. We shared our choices of appetizers, which were all exceptional- the vegetable samosas were the best I have ever tasted! We all enjoyed our main courses - the ooty woodland mushroom curry, the pepper lamb and the lagoon's shrimp mango curry. Everything was cooked to perfection. The coconut lime whipped custard crumble was a lovely light dessert to follow this wonderful meal - and the cardamon chai was delicious too. We will be returning for sure! Thank you to the chef and to the staff for a wonderful evening!
