My daughter lives in Houston, TX and came all the way to Indianapolis for my birthday which is tomorrow. She made the reservation and checked with me to see if this was a place that I would like to have dinner for my birthday. I had never been to Coopers Hawk and was excited about her choice. We had a 515pm reservation for 5 people and arrived approximately 10 minutes ahead of our reservation time. We walked in and the young lady at the check in counter was on the company phone, which was fine because she was conducting business on her job. However, there was another woman there at the other check in computer who made eye contact with me and never spoke, smiled or asked if she could help us. I then in turn walked over to her and the other lady had gotten off the phone and waited on us. I found that this employee was very unwelcoming and rude. The young lady that checked us in was quite pleasant and professional. We sat and waited for our table for about 10 minutes. When we were seated, we were taken to the back to this large banquet type room where there was one other family in there. Our table had chipped paint on the edges and there was no place settings like the other tables had. The candle was not lit as were the other tables and we informed our waitress but never got a lit candle until my daughter had to get one from the table next to us. We ordered appetizers and when it arrived, we had to ask for plates, knives, forks and napkins. We were brought bread, and it was placed between my brother and sister-in-law on the other side of the table instead of in the middle where everyone could reach it. When we finished the appetizers, and our used plates were never removed. I (the birthday girl) had to get up and remove them and place them on a tray myself. This was a God-awful experience that I didn't expect from a restaurant of this caliber. My husband picked up the tab of $500 including the tip. This was way below my expectations and the worst birthday. My 67th...

When we finally got our food and wine it was great, but this was the worst service I’ve ever had at a Cooper’s Hawk. We waited a half an hour after our reservation time to be seated. Waited at least another 30-40 minutes for our food order to be taken, then another 15 minutes for our drinks to be brought out, and at that point had to ask for the bread to be brought out. From the time to got there to the time we left we were there 2 hours and 20 minutes. The manager did take some drinks off our bill.

Although the Open Table description says this restaurant is in downtown Indy, it is a 30 minute drive from downtown, quite inconvenient when you were expecting downtown. We still arrived on time, but our table was not ready and the hostess could not provide an estimate of availability. Not a great start. Once seated, our service was fine, menu is large and the variety is huge, food was good.

Was excited to try this out, our first time here! First, we were not able to park in their lot and had to park a ways away. Our wait staff was very polite and prompt. Appetizer of Calamari was overcooked and very rubbery. Main course was delivered and different intervals and was not placed in front of correct person. Food runner dropped the food and walked away. Steaks were cooked to perfection but the roasted vegetables were very dry/overcooked. Probably will try again sometime but not for awhile!

We loved sitting in the barrel room as much quieter than other areas. The wine was terrific as usual… The super Tuscan is our favorite. However we did have to wait about 20 minutes for each bottle of wine we ordered which was much longer than usual. None of us got our salads that we ordered prior to dinner. A few of our dinners were cold or partially cold. We are regulars here at Cooper's Hawk and we're disappointed with the service this time although our server was very sweet.

We went for a friends birthday dinner/girls night outing and had a great time at Cooper as always. We said in a small banquet room upfront in our area was very dark, but we managed everything else was great. We are part of the wine club and enjoyed this months wine

The weekend brunch is so tasty! This is our second time for brunch and loving 2 dishes we tried different from the first time. That makes 4 dishes so far and future trouble deciding on which to order. Keep brunch coming Cooper's Hawk😍
