   We arrived early and had a drink at the bar. Bartender was great. We had questions on the drinks and she answered them. Drinks were perfect. Once seated our waitress was prompt and knowledgeable of the menu. We had drunken shrimp for our appetizer. It was perfect, shrimp were not rubbery and plenty of sauce for dipping. We had chicken piccata and chicken Madeira. Both were perfect. How they cook the chicken so tender is beyond belief. The piccata is in a lemon sauce with capers over angel hair pasta. If you like a citrus flavored sauce get this. It is amazing. The Madeira has a savory mushroom gravy with it which was so flavorful served with silky mashed potatoes and asparagus. It is a little loud but nothing to concerning. Food came out fast and perfect. Our reservation was at 5:30 and we left at 6:15. Food was served fast and hot. We will be back soon! Drinks were great, food was great and staff was great. Highly recommend!

   In the past, my friends and I have enjoyed our dining experience at Cooper's Hawk. Unfortunately our most recent visit at lunch was filled with totally inept service including the kitchen, the bar, and the table wait staff. The amount of things that went awry is too extensive to relate here. Finally, the manager agreed to comp two of the seven meals. Whenever service is that bad, I wonder if it's due to inadequate staff training, to bad hiring decisions, or a confluence of both. If we ever go again, we'll go with the understanding that it could be a delightful lunch or it could be abysmally awful.

   Caesar salad delicious, best of Madison! Grouper was also delicious well seasoned with delicious sauce; never seen this on local menu before and will return to have it again! Service was pleasant and accurate but very, very slow, long wait times to receive meal, take home box and bill, with no explanations.

   Have been here multiple times, the host desk staff has been consistently rude and dismissive. Surprising that this is allowed since the food, atmosphere, wine and waitstaff is excellent.

    Went for lunch. Atmosphere and space was nice. Food was pretty good. Service was definitely lacking. Hostess was good but after we ordered we never saw our server again. Ordered an appetizer but food was delivered all together. Never saw our server again except to bring us the bill. Drinks were never refilled. Nobody checked our food was ok. Very disappointing. There were A LOT of staff milling around but nobody checked on us even though we tried waving a few staff members down a few times. This was our first time trying Cooper’s Hawk and we were definitely underwhelmed. I have to assume this isn’t the norm. But it will be hard for me to choose a visit here again given the other good options so nearby.
