An outstanding restaurant. Had a reservation but arrived early. Staff got us seated very quickly. We like the energy of bar. It's a bit noisy but, alive. The food is always excellent and, of course, the wine can't be beat. Overall, loved it!

We had a 4:45 reservation, so I consider that early in the evening. Already they seemed to be backed up and behind. The server took our drink order relatively fast but then we had to wait extremely long for everything else. I really felt bad for the reservations that were after us because the evening just continued to get backed up and I truthfully don’t understand why. Lack of management maybe?

Friendly greeting upon entering and they were able to add one more person to our reservation. Our waitress was Jensen, and she was fantastic! Knowledgeable and attentive. It was busy as always, but we never felt rushed. The food was delicious and the salads were big and a great way to start. Obviously the wine selection is huge, and the presentation great.

I will start off by saying this was not my first experience at the restaurant but far most the worse overall due to our server Daniel we had. She was very short with us taking orders, did not give time for anyone to ask simple questions , and when she brought out the food she put very hot plates in our hands before us having a chance to move other items out the way. Thank to the other servers and Manager that tried their best to make up for her rude behavior.

Love this place. One of the most consistent restaurants in Sarasota. The wine tasting experience is fun and excellent. One issue tonight. I wanted to order the special, scallops with risotto and spinach. I asked if I could get it with potatoes and a different vegetable. NO, they can’t change the specials. Any other meal yes but not the specials. WHY? This is a ridiculous policy. I don’t like spinach and thought this was an easy change. I am a long time member of Coopershawk and was disappointed in there decision to not accommodate me.

Service was excellent. The Chicken Madeira was very good and the filet mignon was cooked perfectly. The dessert was a disappointment. The Resse's cookie dessert was barely warm.
