Entree took almost 1 hour to deliver. It was under cooked. Server was great, ambiance great.

It’s a holiday so it’s as expected. Food was delicious. Bartender was a bit grumpy. Could hear his complaints a few tables away. Sounds like the bar got a rush of tickets, grace given for working on Christmas in the service industry. Maybe a few less loud f bombs. Our waiters were attentive and there was a bit of confusion on what food came to our table vs a neighboring table. It worked out.

Lovely dining experience on Christmas late afternoon. Great food, moderate selection of finely crafted cuisine. They were out of a couple of popular items that I might have ordered had they still had them available. After dining we enjoyed a nice walk on the waterfront and all the lovely decorations. Due to most of our family traveling over the holidays, this was a good choice for celebrating our small Christmas together. Tip on parking: use the hotel's parking/private valet service, don't use the Ruston general parking as this restaurant does not validate that.

What I liked: beautiful ambience, and stylish decor, open on Christmas morning, pleasant temperature not too cold, not too warm, friendly staff. What I didn’t like: the menu had a limited options. There was no seafood available for omelettes or scrambles or Benedict‘s. In fact, there were no holiday themed choices at all. It took a long time to get our food, and the restaurant was not very busy. It would never be something I would order again. The sausage was way over seasoned and I couldn’t eat it so I ended up paying $18 for two scrambled eggs and a biscuit.
