Step into our historic building, and you will immediately be greeted by its red-brick walls, exposed beams, and intimate bar space leading to an open and airy dining room and our fantastic back patio set for outdoor dining and conversations around our fire pit (weather permitting!).

Sit at the bar to enjoy an artisanal beer or oak-aged bourbon alongside a quick bite of charcuterie meats and cheeses, crispy brussels sprouts, or shark fries. Or venture into the heart of Copper Shark for a leisurely chef-inspired meal created by Chef Matthew Audette.

In addition to seasonal masterpieces, you can always count on classic cuisine like our petite filet, soup du jour and pot du creme. Weather permitting, we encourage you to cozy up next to our courtyard fire pit.

Solid food and drinks. Didn’t like where we were seated. It wasn’t terrible but being directly next to a wall isn’t ideal. Service was pretty good but we had to ask for water a couple of times. Within a certain price range I kind of expect the basics to be covered. I assume they were busier than usual so I would give them another chance.

We waited an hour for a 7:30pm reservation. Several other parties were experiencing the same problem. The GM Erika was great but a round of drinks just didn’t make up for how things went. Especially when our server ( Emma , who was quite lovely ) told us , 20 minutes after we ordered , that two of the entrees we chose were not available. Apparently the filet was “not up to the chef’s standards”. We also had a young lady in our party slip and fall on a very slippery floor leading into the dining room. We would love to give it another chance but we are just not feeling it.

Highly recommend Copper Shark. The food, atmosphere and service are always outstanding. I have had dinner there several times and never leave disappointed. Tried several new dishes one was better than the next. It’s definitely my FAVORITE restaurant in Baltimore.

Delicious appetizers, main courses and dessert. Generous portion sizes. Excellent service. Wonderful ambience and such easy parking. All of this made for a perfect dining experience.

Was really looking forward eating the duck breast, but then we found out they were out of it. Ok, so decided on the scallops, but they were out of that too. So went with the duck bolognese, and that was a huge pile of garbage. Tough night. But the server was very attentive and polite. Not inspired to come back.

From being welcomed with a drink at the bar to enjoying the private seating in the back room, Copper Shark provided an excellent experience! I’ve visited before for happy hour, where the prices are fantastic, but it was a nice change to go for dinner. The carpaccio appetizer was absolutely incredible—I wish we had ordered more for the table. The duck breast entrée was phenomenal, and I’ll definitely be returning to have it again!
