COURSE offers an 8-course Chef tasting menu Friday and Saturday and a 5-course ‘choice of’ menu on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.     Had never been to Course and have heard a lot of good things. Decided to go for the special Valentine Day menu. The food was not good. We had an 8 course meal and didn't enjoy a single course. The ambience of the patio was horrible. The service was not what you would expect with this type of restaurant. Definitely won't ever go back.

    My husband and I both agreed this was the best dining experience we have ever had. Such amazing flavor combinations. We were so impressed and had such an amazing time. The staff were so attentive and knew the food so well.

    We left a $500+ meal, starving. Ended up devouring burritos at Julioberto‘s on the way home. We were excited about trying a new place, on Valentines Day. The hype definitely laid flat for us.

    What a spectacular evening! We had the Valentine's Day tasting menu and opted for the add-on wine pairing. Yes, it's expensive, but TOTALLY worth it! Each course was delivered with an in-depth description of Chef Cory's techniques, followed by the wine being poured and described by one of three in-house sommeliers. While I expected to not like one or two of the food items, I was surprised to find I wanted to savor the flavors of every single bite. There was a tiny mix-up with my fish allergy, but it was corrected immediately and brilliantly. The alternative to the fish was oh, so delicious. By the time the final course arrived, I was feeling a little sad the evening was coming to an end. We had been able to enjoy a private conversation in the full outdoor dining space. It was the perfect temperature on a fairly cold evening. I was even able to ditch the pashmina I had in case of a chill. We set the bar high in terms of expectations and Course and its staff far exceeded them all. Get online now and book a reservation! You will not be disappointed.

    What a unique experience! The food was amazing! Flavor combinations I have never tried before. Also our Bartender Justin was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would recommend anyone going who loves food and doesn’t stare at their phone. Unless you’re taking pictures of the amazing plates.

    Yet another outstanding menu from Chef Oppold. Corey's service for us was also excellent. He saw to every need we had, and the courses were arriving at a steady and good pace. The oysters had a nice brine with grill flavor and nicely paired with cream cheese and bacon. We enjoyed the whimsical Kettle corn and Winter spice cocktail. The avocado with cucumber sunomono was the show-stealer. Perfect acid and freshness with the masago arare, yuzu aoili and shiso. We could 3 more of this dish! The Lobster agnolotti was perfectly cooked. We loved the leek purée that went with it. The crispy maitake was the show-stopper for the mushroom course, outshining the Parisienne gnocchi. The seabass was a tad overcooked, but salvaged by the corn, polenta and yellow bell pepper purée. As usual the K4 Copper State ranch ribeye from Prescott was very good, perfectly paired with an onion jam and a demi glace. The chocolate ganache dessert was perhaps the least successful. It needed the date jam, coffee and hazelnut for balance. It tasted a bit one-note after a few bites. We have had more interesting desserts from Course. But the final strawberries and cream with a strawberry foam, white chocolate Bavarian and champagne was a wonderful, refreshing finish to the meal. The restaurant was filled over into the courtyard. So the kitchen and front-of-house were pretty busy. But the team managed to hold it all together, working efficiently, and didn't miss a beat. Best of all, Chef Oppold found time to come say hello! So that definitely made the evening.
