The Crown & Mitre is a Grade II listed building built as private houses in the 1600's and converted into a pub in 1743.
Since that date the premises have retained not just the name but also the licence. It’s now an independent freehold pub business. We have recently taken over and are eager to create something unique to King’s Lynn.

As an established company and our key team having over 100 years experience in the licensed trade, we bring all our love for great food, wine and beer to the Crown & Mitre for your delight.

Located at the end of Ferry St on the shores of the great River Ouse the pub is steeped in nautical memorabilia that adds a touch of quirkiness and gets you wondering how old they are and where it all came from.

This menu is designed for a quick and tasty bite before or after your show. Went for a catch up with friends. Was a lovely evening all round. The Crown and Mitre is a quirky little pub/restaurant, with delicious food, friendly service in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Would highly recommend, 10 out of 10.

Excellent food, great service, prompt and friendly. Great range of beers and the pub has loads of character. Thoroughly recommend, we had an excellent evening here.

Very tasty meal, which we thoroughly enjoyed. If wevvisit Kings Lynn in the future and are likely to want a meal, will definitely be looking to visit the Crown and Mitre again.

We had the express menu before a concert and arrived early for our table. It was no problem to the staff who were friendly and courteous. Great service. We didn’t feel rushed but we still made our concert in time. Food was hot and full of flavour. Would recommend and will be back.

Very overpriced for basic menu choices. £23 for the tiniest of shepherds pies with 5 green beans and 2 carrots! Trying to be a la carte but sadly failing. Stick to pub sized portions and you'll be on to a winner.

The Crown & Mitre has evolved over the past six months into what it aspires to be - “a riverside gastro pub”. The welcome as you come through the door, the beer, wine food and service was all excellent.
