   Under-staffed for a Saturday night. Got seated outside. Heaters were out of gas and so not working and bar-staff were asked to help with our orders because the assigned wait staff were over run. Bad service and planning. Disappointing experience overall. Won't be back in hurry given the other choices in the city

   Upon entry, the ambience was just what you would expect for a perfect date night. We ordered cocktails that were delicious. Everything that I ordered ended up being sold out. I went until the fourth item and I just decided to go with the truffle mac & cheese with the added lobster. It was phenomenal! I added some buffalo sauce to it, and it took it to an even greater level! After trying a bite of my date’s salmon, I asked if they had any available. To my surprise they did! But unfortunately, after a few bites, I found out that it was undercooked in the middle. Our server was great and he was embarrassed to see that after so many attempts to order that the one thing that I was set on came out undercooked. He said “It just wasn’t our night.” I understand that it was a busy weekend. I just tried to make the most out of it even though it was far from the experience that I expected. Maybe next time I’m in Fort Worth I will give it another try. But it is as our server said, it just wasn’t their night, hence the low rating

   Decided to spend the Sunday after Valentine’s Day at Del Frisco. We originally thought that we booked at the double Eagle location, but OpenTable booked us for the grill location. The menu seem similar however we were highly disappointed to find out that multiple appetizers and dinner selections were no longer available and we had a 7 PM reservation on February 16. I’m not sure how a restaurant runs out of bread but Valentine’s Day is always February 14 and I would think of business that has been operating this long would know how to order and have supplies. Our food was decent. The steaks were OK but the sides needed some attention particularly the creamed spinach was very dry and doughy. Our server was nice and apologize for the multiple selections being out. She did make suggestions that we took. I was also disappointed that none of the management came to any of the tables on our level to apologize for the outage of food selections again it’s Valentines weekend but you’ve been in business for years. Why don’t you know how to order food for a holiday weekend and to have no one from management to come by and offer an apology it’s just unacceptable. We will not be back.

   Yikes. Today was not their day. We've been to DFG many times and, hands down, this was our worst experience. Our last seated guest ordered a mimosa; 20 minutes later it still hadn't come so when the server asked us about it, the guest asked to switch to coffee instead. The manager came by and said he'd get the mimosa, which she declined. When the food was served, one guest was presented with french toast, instead of the french dip breakfast sandwich. It was obviously sent back as a mistake (no problem), but then they brought her french onion soup. Again, we asked for the corrected meal, which was expedited but still received after the rest of the group had finished their meals. Since we were leaving for a show at the Bass, she only had time to eat half of her meal so asked for a to-go bag. While waiting for that, someone dropped off a to-go sack with a box inside. Confused, we looked at it, and it was leftover dessert for the table nearby. The manager offered us complimentary desserts, which they agreed to let us come pick up after the show. The server was apologetic but basically told us not to come during a holiday weekend, since they were all tired from working 16 hour shifts over Valentine's Day. Let's just say if it were our first time, we probably wouldn't be back, since it was lackluster at best. Interestingly, it was also pretty dead, so I guess no one was really invested. Better luck next time?

   It was a cold night but the porch seating was nice and warm! Loved the atmosphere and the service!

    First time at Del Frisco’s Grille and it was a positive experience. We have been to Del Frisco’s Double Eagle many times and we enjoyed the ambience of the Grille as a change of pace.
