   There was no disabled parking and we had to walk 2 blocks. We thought we had booked at the steak house where they had valet parking. Upon entering, the restaurant was more casual than we expected and most everyone was wearing jeans. The menu was different and had hamburgers. We were served pretty quickly. Our orders were taken for food and drinks. I asked if we got bread and was told we had to order it and that it would take a while as they made it to order. Our meal was served before the bread came. Our steaks were good, but both were undercooked from what we ordered. The mashed potatoes were good, the onion rings not so much. The waiter checked on us once to refill drinks. He never offered desert. We finally realized that this wasn’t the steakhouse that we expected. They sent us to the grille as the steakhouse didn’t open until later in the day. Wish we had known this and we would have made later reservations. We had responded to an add for a special new years menu. We left and went elsewhere for desert. It was ok, but nothing special. If we try again, we will be sure to confirm that our reservations are where we requested. The review is showing an automatic 5 stars! We would have rated it more like a 3

   Ribeye was good. Short rib was salty. Desserts where really good we had the key lime pie and the flourless chocolate cake.

   The food was outstanding! Ambiance was very nice and the location was perfect and centrally located to Sundance square. Will definitely come back!

   Steaks were undercooked. Did not seat us at reservation time. Trey was a good waiter. Food was still good and we like the variety.

   We had steak, mashed potatoes and spinach. No flavor. One filet ordered medium rare was medium. The other was as ordered. Ahi tuna tacos (a personal favorite lacked flavor - missing wasabi). Butternut squash bisque was pretty good. The highlight was our server who was happy and engaging! Ask for Giovani - his personality somewhat redeemed the shortfall in the kitchen.

   We come every New Year’s Eve for lunch to celebrate our two birthdays. This year was disappointing. We had specifically said in the reservation on line we wanted a quiet table due to our age and our birthdays. They didn’t seat us in a quiet area. The food was not up to par. The salmon was ok, but the mashed potatoes & truffled Mac n cheese were lukewarm. The steak was good but not cooked as specified. We were never offered bread which was odd at an upscale restaurant. We didn’t mention to waiter these concerns since we rarely complain at a restaurant. But we just decided our special yearly lunch date will probably be elsewhere next year. By the way, there were very few customers there at this time of day, so being overwhelmed with guests was not the reason for the fall in quality.

   The food was good. Our waiter was very slow and uninterested in our table. Appetizer took a long time to come out. Ordered wine when we ordered food and never received it. We have never had such poor service here and it was not too busy.

    More consistant lighting throughout the dining area would be nice. Needs better ambience.
