But this was meant to be a birthday celebration, which was noted in the reservation. We told our server it was a birthday celebration ... he could not have cared less in spite of the fact there were two people at the bar and one couple seated in the restaurant (us). It was a bummer not to be able to kick off our celebration with ... anything resembling acknowledgment of it. But like I said, the food was good.

                                                                                                Cute place! Had a reservation and were seated quickly. Ana our server was nice and shared honest tips on the menu. Table location was not our ideal. We had a few cocktails, shrimp & grits, pesto pollo (<< really good !) and brownie w ice cream for dessert. Overall satisfying - and if we go back we will try the pizza - we saw lots of tables with pies that looked great !

                                                                                                This is a wonderful neighborhood place. The food is consistently excellent. Best pork chop in town. Last night I has the fish special - branzino - and it was the best branzino I've ever had. I hope they make it a menu regular.

                                                                                                The lamb was amazing. The pizza was awesome. The pizza was super hot and stayed hot. Our server was as good as it gets. I wish I could remember her name. The ambience was so nice inside. Stay away from outside seating if you don’t appreciate kids running around un-supervised by not-so-great parents. Thank you, Del Vista, for being our much-loved neighborhood bistro!

                                                                                                Nice neighborhood bar and restaurant. Nice menu variety, food was very good and reasonably priced. Very friendly and attentive service staff. Their ceviche (off menu appetizer) was very tasty with plenty of fresh seafood. We had a party of 10 and everyone loved their food. Would definitely come back again.

                                                                                                For over 20 years, we have been dining at Del Vista ( formerly La Vista) since it opened in its various locations. Food and drinks are consistently delicious and fresh! The Orange Blossom, Buffalo Orange Old Fashioned and French 75 were perfect! The filet with bone marrow butter , grilled salmon with cucumber avocado relish and seared Ahi tuna were cooked to perfection ! Tres Leches and Whiskey pecan pie with chocolate chips were equally as good as the entrees. Service is also outstanding! Last night , Jet, was our server and he was excellent! We will continue to dine here ! Highly recommend!
