Dining here will almost definitely mean hearing the likes of Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack over the sound system, and this Syracuse restaurant offers delightful décor to give it a big-city vibe. Guests at Delmonico’s Italian Steakhouse love the filet mignon and the filet portabella, both of which are nine-ounce cuts of meat served with penne marinara and angel hair pasta, respectively. Check-in was a little chaotic even with the reservation. It still took 30 minutes to get seated. But the service and the food were excellent. Alexandra did an amazing job, thank you.

The only real issue we had was the noise levels in the space. Quite loud and hard to carry on a conversation with the person I was with.

The food was outstanding. Our waitress was very pleasant, and despite being packed after an SU football home win at dinner time, very attentive to our needs. The waitresses do dress immodestly and the noise level was pretty high. I would definitely eat there again, but probably on a week night.
