Looking for the best restaurant in Albuquerque Old Town? During the summer of 2005, our D.H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro opened in Albuquerque’s historic Old Town, originally under the St. Clair Winery & Bistro name. Enthusiastic to offer the best wine and gourmet food, we have earned an excellent reputation for quality and service while upholding our family’s six-generation winemaking heritage.

The food was overall fabulous. The Creme Brulee was colder than anticipated but that is the only critique of the food. The Lavender G&T may have too much honey in it as it tasted like pure honey. but the wine pairing recommendations were excellent as well as the wine. Our server was very kind with all of the additional requests and assists making for a very accommodating and appealing and delicious dining experience!

We sat in the tent which was fine but there were not enough of the heaters to keep everyone warm without wearing coats or heavy sweaters.

We love coming to this neighborhood restaurant. The food is consistently very high quality, arrives hot and beautifully presented. We always get a bottle of their Cabernet to enjoy with it. We’ve tried nearly every dish. Our favorite — and a great value — is the salmon. Perfectly cooked and the sides are complementary. The “mixed vegetable” are thoughtfully prepared with onion and seasonings and add so much to the meal. We go here at least once a week. There are lots of holiday parties there this time of year. It’s the perfect place to celebrate. And the service is very attentive and personal. They can’t seem to do anything wrong!!

As usual, food was excellent and wait service was great. We had reservations and had no wait. Only detraction was that the main room was quite loud. I really prefer a quieter ambiance.

We had family that flew in and it was a convenient place to go from the airport. The food and drinks were great and the service was very efficient. We even made the reservation last minute and were able to get in right away.
