    We have visited D&P a few times now and will keep returning, we enjoyed our meals. A great menu to choose from and always very helpful when catering for my daughter who is gluten, lactose and dairy free. Food was great again and delivered by a great team.

    Black pudding starter gorgeous. We paid for the matched wine option which was perfect. Staff very knowledgeable regarding both food and wine. Main course of chicken was again lovely but not very hot but other members of our groups was. Frangipan tart gorgeous. Only thing that marred our visit was the temperature in the restaurant, I’m aware they had problems but we were really cold and would probably have stayed longer enjoying the experience if we weren’t so cold. Other than that it was great.

Even as we lingered until closing time, we never felt hurried—quite the opposite, in fact.Every dish we sampled was a culinary triumph, but the charred onions were simply sublime—a delightful blend of flavors that left a lasting impression. This restaurant seamlessly combines impeccable hospitality with gastronomic excellence, setting a gold standard for fine dining. Highly recommended !!

    The food was average so for the price you pay, you are better off going to a pub. I had beef tartare for starters and the beef was bland, the egg yolk on top was hard and the crisps were so tough I almost broke my teeth trying to eat them. For mains I had pan fried fish of the day which was okay with some buttered potatoes and samphire. Pudding I had sticky toffee pudding which was average but could do with less sugar. Wine was great to be fair. French grand de cru saint emilion. service was good and they were very attentive but again food was so average.

    Myself and 1 other of our party are coeliac very attentive staff no worries about our food, all courses were delicious perfectly prepared value for money, brilliant atmosphere

    This is a fabulous and intimate place with great food. Always impressed by the quality and friendly service. Sunday lunch is great quality and value for money

    Sunday dinner a disappointment. Food tepid and Yorkshire pudding stone cold. Vegetables overcooked so a bit of a school dinner experience. Not what I expected! Disappointed
