   My husband and I dined here on Sat., Dec. 21st. We shared the Burrata. I had the pear salad which was very good and I had ravioli. My husband had La Carne pizza and was very disappointed with it. He didn't like that there was not a good enough amount of Spanish Chorizo and Italian sausage. He also didn't like that the pizza dough was quite thin in places. The manager was walking around and stopped at our table. My husband told him he didn't like the pizza, however I felt that the manager didn't seem to be that concerned about it.

   During our first visit, the dishes we ordered were satisfactory, but none stood out as exceptional enough to deserve five stars. Additionally, out of the eight dishes we had chosen, one was unfortunately incorrect, leaving a poor colleague of mine watching everyone else enjoy their meals while he waited an extra 20 minutes for his order to arrive. It was quite frustrating for him to sit there while the rest of us were already digging in.

   Horrible service- we were served the wrong food, we couldn’t get a dessert menu or a wine list, had to get up and find it ourselves. We told them repeatedly it was our daughter‘s birthday, they ignored it.  After the meal, the manager who was at the hostess station on his phone, told me “we should’ve found him.” The restaurant was so noisy we couldn’t hear each other. The bathroom was dirty with toilet paper all over the floor. The food was OK. It was terribly overpriced or what it was. The white truffle pasta was spaghetti in Alfredo sauce with a couple of shavings of white truck on top- uninspired. The Bronzino was delicious, but it was served on top of grains that were actually slightly slimy. .

   Food was just okay. As it’s relatively new, it was busy on a Saturday night and thus, noisy. The service was, shall we say, less than professional. Midway through the meal with family and friends, felt rushed to finish up and leave, even though we were there less than an hour.

   Delicious food with great service! I suggest making a reservation, as this restaurant filled up very quickly during dinner time.

   Sat at bar prior to being seated and had a “Golden Negroni”- a very unique cocktail! Four of us ordered a Margherita Pizza in lieu of appetizers (I’ll be back for those!) and it was quite good. Two were very pleased with their lasagna while my wife happy with her gnocchi. My Marechiaro (squid pasta w/seafood) was excellent. The profiteroles for desert presented in different fashion and made for a fine ending. Only negative was the noise level, which, at times, interfered with communication between diner and waiter. Doppio Zero a fine addition to Campbell!

    The food as always with Doppio Zero, was very good. The Brussels sprouts, roasted with bacon until browned and crispy are incredibly tasty as were the potato croquettes. We ordered a Doppio Zero pizza (with white sauce, prosciutto, shaved Parmigiano Reggiano and blops of fresh mozzarella di bufala) and the wild boar fettuccine...both were excellent. The service however was a real disappointment, as we were basically ignored by the wait staff for over 20 minutes after we finished our meal. Our table was right near the entry to the kitchen, so there was a constant stream of wait staff going by, but they refused to look our way and ignored or didn't see when I tried to gesture for assistance. We have eaten at Doppio Zero several times, but this was our first time in the Campbell location. I would chalk this visit experience up to bad luck, but there were SO many wait staff in the vicinity of our table, and they largely seemed intent on ignoring us.
