I was there for early dinner beforee an evenet and happy hour was in effect with great prices on beverages and small plates, pizzas. I had the meatballs which were delicious and a friend got the beet salad which was tasty.

Great neighborhood restaurant that doesn't disappoint. We shared a pear salad with arugula, goat cheese and pepitas- every bite had a great clean crunch; followed by pasta cacio de pepe and a carbonara pizza special 😋 both rich and creamy. Everything was delicious and service was stellar per usual. Thank you for your consistency in quality and service!

The lamb stew with polenta and kale was delicious. I like the fine grain polenta. I suggested to the staff that the bowl/plate needs to be warmed up. Putting hot food into a cold plate does not stay warm for very long. After all, it is fall and sitting next to the window is coldish.l

We have been here a few times now and it is pretty much our go to place for a pre-theater dinner. Last night, we had exception service from Enrique, and the manager and staff were bustling and very efficient w/ orders, bringing meals and clearing tables. Very energetic and fast serving; felt very much like a trattoria in Italy.

As a 67 year old I felt like a hipster. Friday night out with my wife in the happening Hayes Valley. Have learned that it is smart and essential to have a reservation and eat on the early side of the evening (5:30). Have eaten here before with my Gen Z son and wife of 43 years but didn’t order pizza. The beets were fabulous both times. This time we both ordered pizza. Very good flavors though my crust was a little soggy. Not a bid deal because I eat pizza fold over style. A very nice evening out with my soulmate. Hayes Valley on a Friday night is such a different vibe than our sleepy mid Sunset neighborhood on a Friday night. Whomever thinks the City of SF is on a “death spiral” should check out the restaurant on a Friday night. Many folks living the good life.

Super crowded and you are seated very closely to other tables. I wasn't expecting that but I guess that's the city for you. Prepare to walk sideways if you need to use the restroom or leave; it's TIGHT. Food was ok, Calamari was fishy. My salad was too. Lemon cake was ok but nothing to write home about. The staff however was great. 5 stars for all of the staff. I feel you can get Italian food at a much high caliber for the price elsewhere. Bill for 2 people was $150. We did get a drink each, an app, mains and shared dessert.
