   Excellent food. Great crab dip, the steak was absolutely delicious. A little on the expensive side for not including any sort of side, but both the ribeye and filet were every bit the size listed on the menu and were cooked exactly as requested. Two in our party ordered seafood dishes as well and thoroughly enjoyed them. You could tell both the seafood and beef was high quality and that the culinary team took pride in the dishes they served. The macaroni and cheese was excellent, and the fries were some of the best I’ve ever had (and all sides were easily shareable among at least four people per side). The cocktail (and mocktails) all received rave reviews from our party, and the wine list was extensive with a good variety for both taste and price range. The service was generally top tier. The entrees did a take a little longer to come out than ideal, but they were apologetic for the wait. Server was very knowledgeable and generous with their time in assisting us. Overall, I intend to go back in the future and feel very comfortable recommending to others.

   A very excellent experience. We were celebrating our anniversary so it was going to be a great time anyway. The food and service was very good. They take the time to explain many things along the way. Chef visited us to help with our visit. Can’t wait to return again.

   My favorite restaurant in WS. Wonderful food, graciously served. Julie took great care of us. She’s very knowledgeable about the menu. Th farmer’s plate I had was just as she described. Two of us had it and literally cleaned our plates. One of us had the meatloaf special which was judged to be fabulous. As always, a pleasure to dine here.

   We have eaten here numerous times, and really like the restaurant. Our server Michael was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Prices have gone up a bit, and there was only one seafood entree available. The food was tasty, but we would have liked for the sides (pomme frites and mac and cheese ) to have been served hotter. We actually sent back the mac and cheese, which was re-fired but still came out luke warm. Otherwise, we enjoyed our evening there.

The menu is based upon market prices so the price of the steaks have gone up by $2 for the holiday season but will drop back down after the new year. I'm sorry to hear that the mac and cheese was not hot enough for you. It was bubbling when it came out, we will make sure that the internal temp is just as hot for you next time!     Our waiter, Nikky was very gracious and attentive during our visit to The Downtown Grille. The Apple Brandy burger with fries surpassed expectations with the caramelized onions on top and house-made aioli. Delicious. Every visit to this restaurant is a treat.
