Dullboy offers a brick-walled cocktail bar & restaurant with a writer’s lounge concept inspired by the cult classic The Shining. With a newly remodeled and heated backyard in the heart of downtown Jersey City, it is the ideal location for an outdoor cocktail hang or an indoor cozy winter night escape. Conveniently located two blocks away from the path train, Dullboy brings an elevated yet accessible neighborhood experience to locals and visitors alike.

If you would like to reserve a table in our patio, please let it be known on the "any special requests" note provided after completing the booking. Please note, reservations are made available 30 days in advance. Everyone must be 21+ in order to enter. Full party must be present at the time of reservation in order to be seated. All seating is limited to one and a half hours.

    Thank you for booking with us, this reservation does require a food & beverage price minimum of $70.00 per person. These larger groups can only be accommodated in the Pala outdoor courtyard. There is no space indoors so while there is a roof you will be exposed to the weather. By booking this you are acknowledging and abiding by that minimum.

    We will be releasing our private barrel selection of Makers Mark. This experience will be guided by Makers Mark tasting through their stave barrel process as well as tasting our limited barrel whiskey. You will also receive one of our bottles.     Everything was fantastic. The only thing that might be helpful is on the menu, I had to ask the waiter how many tacos were included in one order. I would be a bit more helpful if this was shown on the menu, as I was trying to split these orders with my party.

    service was overall good. appetizer - shrimp tostada came after our entree which was a fail and wasn’t worth the price. drinks were solid and burgers were tasty. Loud in there.

    Arepas and coconut shrimp tacos were fire. Empanadas are decent. We didn’t love the chicken meatball skewers. It’s always a vibe in there.

    The dinning experience was great!! The shrimp tostada and steak skewers were amazing! This is a great place to get great cocktails too.
