Always fun, with delicious food preparations. Just seems price is getting out of hand. Our server made a huge difference in making us feel special and welcomed.

We should have been asked if we didn’t mind sitting in the other room which was empty. That wasn’t nice.

The food we tried was mostly delicious. My husband ordered the Penne Langostine with red, spicy sauce. Nothing was spicy about the sauce. It was very bland. We also ordered the sweet corn agnolotti and the heirloom tomatoes. Both were perfection. The service was hit and miss. It was hard to flag someone down to ask for more water. At one point, one of the restaurant workers went to the table right next to us, grabbed their empty water bottle, came back, refilled all of their glasses and then walked away without checking/asking if we needed anything. (Yes. We needed water, chili flakes and bread.) The ambiance felt crowded. My husband and I like a people free bubble and that was a pipe dream here. I don’t think I’ll return to eat AT the restaurant but I would absolutely order take-out.

Unfortunately, I made the reservation for my boss, in my boss's name, but when I called to confirm the reservation, Open Table could not make the reservation under HER NAME only mine. Wish there could be a way to just make a reservation for someone else although I am the account holder. My boss will never make a reservation on her own.

Without a doubt, E. Baldi is the best Italian restaurant in Los Angeles! Exceptional food prepared by the owner/chef Edouardo. This is the ultimate, baving the visionary owner prepare your meal. This is not about a lot of PR and marketing, it's about being authentic. Bravo Edouardo, you stand alone above all others.
