   Had some people in from out of town, booked Earls because of consistency (usually) when we visit different Earls (always a fan) The breakfast in Banff was not good Restaurant was not busy service was so slow From time of ordering food it was 45 min to table. When arrived they poured cold hollandise sauce over hot food, had to be sent back. On the breakfast plate the bacon was white like close to raw, what the? Even the server that brought it out should look at the plate. No? Server tried. You need to send the cooks to school Bad news earls I wish I took a photo of the bacon. Not usually a complainer.

   Always enjoy going to Earls. The meal was good, service a little slow but attentive. Portions seem to have changed to bee a bit less.

   Ordered the crabcake that was not much crab - mostly filled with vegetables. They did allow us to return it and also took it off the bill. Otherwise food was good. Host seemed new as she almost sat us down in an incorrect area and was corrected by other staff.

   Great food poor service , asked 3 times for water during meal ended up getting it myself. Starters were slow to arrive then mains turned up before we finished

   Make sure you get a reservation for this place - those with reservations gets to eat at the upstairs level with amazing ambiance - much nicer than the main floor bar area. I believe any negative feedback from this restaurant are from people who were not aware of the upstairs dining option. Food and variety was on point.

Our upstairs is a Dining Room with great mountain views, and we have a Lounge on our main floor that's more energetic and offers Happy Hour!     I want to preface my review with a) we are huge Earls fans and b) I don’t leave negative reviews lightly. Our experience was awful. The service was slow, the food was mediocre at best - the Caesar salad was barely dressed and the chicken dry and overcooked; club sandwich bread was dry. Steak was warm, not hot. Noodles were fine. The drinks were completely watered-down from, what I can only assume, sitting on the bar for so long. The Paloma didn’t even have real grapefruit juice (some odd hot-pink grapefruit syrup), gin martini was water-y. I’ve never been so disappointed with the Earls chain! Like I said, we often seek out Earls due to the great menu, drinks and service. I would recommend others that are in the area to avoid this particular spot.
