   I had their clam chowder which I already knew was delicious; my companion had calamari which she said was great. We both had Caesar salads which also passed out test. It was very garlicky and that's how we like it.

   We were celebrating birthday party of my friend. Staff made it very memorable with birthday card and complimentary desert to share and a candle. the experience was very enjoyable. my friend also enjoyed very flavorful non-alcoholic cocktail.

   We had a nice family dinner at Earl's - first time with our little one. The service was great and we were seated comfortable, stroller and all. All the dishes we ordered were made well. We enjoy coming to our neighborhood Fir St location!

   Excellent location. The manager on the floor took extra care of us. We're very happy we choose this particular Earls for our anniversary. My husband always like a good surf and turf.

   Advance reservation stipulated a quiet table, which we didn't get. Steak special Wednesdays motivated me to have steak - but the AAA Prime Sirloin was too tough to eat. I sent it back and had it replaced with a Filet Mignon that was fine. A great deal of garlic in the mashed potatoes and more in the broccolini was somewhat surprising. Our server Riley was incredibly professional, accommodating and friendly -and did what he could to resolve the touch steak issue quickly. Both appetizers (Tuna Tataki and crab Cake) were delicious and memorable. The restaurant gets very loud and the music was louder (I did ask for it to be turned down, which it was). Not a great place to go for a business discussion.

    Here’s the updated version with a different word: The food and service at Earl’s were excellent, and I’ll definitely return. However, I do have one issue. When I made the reservation, I appreciated being asked to provide special occasion details, and I noted that it was for a birthday. However, when our group arrived, the staff at the host stand asked aloud whose birthday it was, unintentionally ruining the surprise I had planned. While I value the effort to acknowledge special occasions, I’d suggest that Earl’s staff take a more discreet approach in the future. Confirming with the person who made the reservation about how they’d like the celebration handled would ensure a smoother experience.
