    The pomodoro sauce was awful, had a bitter (tomatoes were not fresh or ripe) and bland flavor to the over all sauce. The chicken Milano was a thin piece of fried chicken with a small side of sauce. I would never dine there again.

    Have eaten at both Eataly locations in NYC and both the food and the service was better than at Short Hills.

    Went to Eataly for my birthday. The waitress was nice and friendly. We ordered drinks and they were delivered in a timely fashion. The waitress checked in on what we wanted to order and gave us extra time to decide. We placed our order and the food was delivered in a timely fashion with the exception of one order of food. Three people got their food and one did not. I ordered the Cacio e Pepe. It tasted good and the pasta was al dente. The pasta did stick together which should not happen. We started eating and finished our meals by the time the last person got their food. We asked a couple times about when the last person would get their food and they said soon. The last persons meal was pizza. We ordered dessert and coffee and both came promptly. The tiramisu was delicious and I would definitely order it again. It seems like the restaurant is still finding its rhythm. I do want to come again but might give more time for the restaurant to smooth things out. The restaurant was not too busy so not sure why the food was not delivered all at once.

    Delicious food, waitstaff was very welcoming and helpful. The staff that seated us, so accommodating. I am sure because it’s still new but table clearing needs a bit of attention. We will be back very soon!

    If you expect the same experience as in NYC, service is not quite there yet. Food is good, variety is much less but all of great quality. I will come back as it is so convenient.

    Service was very good. Food was good. Ambience was not good. Brightly lit, none of the character of Eataly NYC restaurants. Cheap mall decor.

    Feels like eating in a mall food court. Bright lights. Cold ambience. Food was average. Won’t go back.

    My husband and I made a dinner reservation and were excited to check out their newest location. I was surprised by the poor reviews but figured it was likely from growing pains. I stand corrected. This place has the worst management I’ve ever seen. I’ve been to take out establishments were I was treated better. Upon arrival, we were seated and ordered our food. Our waitress was AMAZING. We ate our appetizer and were enjoying our drinks. The manager approached our table and I assumed he wanted to check in to improve their reviews. WRONG. He asked if we could move our table (to the worst table in the place mind you). When I responded “we are in the middle of dining”, he responded “I know”. My response gave him the chance to apologize and walk away but his response eliminated that opportunity. I responded no. He walked away and never apologized. He then brings our main course. I was appalled and let him know I was disgusted by the exchange and didn’t want him serving me. We loved our waitress and there was no need for him to return to our table without an apology. He became frantic and decided to comp our meal- but too late- the night was destroyed. I ate a few bites, tipped the waitress, and we left. The waitress was so apologetic and we kept reminding her it was not her fault. This establishment needs to rethink who they have in management positions. They are NOT leading by example. They have great staff and should promote someone more deserving.
