   It was very cozy and romantic experience. Food was excellent. Just got confused with Valentine’s Day dinner special. It said that that it was fixed menu when it was not.

   The service and ambiance was great. The food. Well I can cook a pretty decent meal but like I told my wife. There is people that can draw and then there are artists. There are cooks then there are chefs. I couldn't possibly dream of making food this simple yet so delicious.

   My partner & I were excited to try this place out as first timers as all the reviews were pretty much praising it. We were visiting from the city & celebrating our anniversary but left really disappointed with the food tasting experience. The flavors didn’t meet our expectations, and the dishes lacked the quality we were hoping for. Our appetizers were frozen boxed food’s which we weren’t expecting for such a nice restaurant like this one. Even dessert was just as bad. However, the service was the saving grace. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the visit. It’s unfortunate that the food didn’t match the level of service we received.

   While the food and drink were good, the menu was nothing like the menu they presented online. We were looking forward to certain items, and when we got there, everything was different. The place is absolutely sexy, and a beautiful ambiance, but it's really important that diners are aware of up-to-date food options.

   What a lovely spot for a special evening! All of us enjoyed our food, although 2 of our guests ordered the beef and said it was so chewy they couldn’t finish it. But all other dishes were phenomenal. Excellent service and gorgeous victorian decor.

   One of the best kept secrets in the Hudson valley! The staff are so very kind and attentive, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. My food was absolutely to die for, filet mignon seared to perfection, and was accompanied by an absolutely delicious boozy drink (or 3) from bar. Don't even get me started on the location, a gorgeous historic mansion I feel I could spend hours exploring, simply breathtaking! Overall, my dining experience at the Edgewood restaurant was exceptional and I truly can't wait to come back.

   We loved the ambiance and were greeted warmly. Service was slow initially but fine. The food was good but not exceptional. We really enjoyed the Ceaser salad-asked for extra dressing and received extra anchovies ,parmesan and dressing-.We were like wow how nice-.Lol-they charged us 7 dollars extra for that-no big deal but it was not mentioned prior,The entrees were good but not exceptional.We generally bring our own wine and called prior for approval and they said there was a 25 dollar corkage fee but on our bill they charged 40? I asked and our server said thats what the computer printed?.The manager confirmed it was 25.Also they charged 6 dollars extra for a refill of coffee ,again no big deal but it should have been mentioned. All in all we enjoyed it but I wanted to give my honest opinion.We never care about the bill generally but for some reason this annoyed us. Update,The restaurant replied to my review and did all the right things so do not hesitate to try it

    We celebrated our 33rd wedding anniversary. Their staff was overly attentive and the food was outstanding. We complemented the chef. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning there in the future.
