   Derek was great and very knowledgeable! The food and ambience cannot be topped! Highly recommend the Bacon Wrapped Dates and Mushroom Risotto.

   Food was good, service met expectations, but everything overpriced. RibEye wasn’t worth $48. Each time we visit they have rooms reserved thus can’t enjoy the views. Place essentially shut down at 9 on a Saturday but weird residents aren’t their responsibility.

As for the hours of operation, we’re open until 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, with the last seating at 9:30 pm, so you can enjoy your meal comfortably.    The staff were milling about with no sense of urgency. Waitstaff looked at us several times, but no one came to even give us water. We were waiting 25 minutes after being sat for someone to greet us before we decided that we weren’t going to be attended to. When we got up to leave is when someone came and asked us if we had been helped yet, then tried to get us to stay. That’s not good service. That’s terrible service. The restaurant floor was not busy. There was plenty of empty tables, bussers, hostesses, bartenders, and waitstaff. I watched the manager and other staff walking the floor several times, but we were never helped. Our table was in a prominent position as well. We will not be back.

   A Gem in Cottonwood Heights We recently held a company farewell dinner for our esteemed director and mentor at Eight Settlers Distillery Restaurant, and the entire experience was exceptional. The food deserves a solid 5 stars—every dish was bursting with flavor, from the house bread to the spinach and artichoke dip, and the tempura cauliflower. The Exotic Burger was a delightful surprise, packed with unique flavors, and the Buttermilk Fried Chicken was crispy and tender. The Grilled Salmon was perfectly cooked, and the Chef's Special Catch of the Day, Pan-Seared Halibut with asparagus and mashed potatoes, was an absolute standout. The service was exceptional; our server Kristen C was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, making our evening even more enjoyable. The cocktails were also a highlight—the Pama Mule, City Nights, and Through the Pines were expertly crafted and delicious. The ambiance and setting were perfect, with a beautiful blend of traditional western style and modern touches. We were seated in the library section, which offered a cozy and inviting atmosphere, adding to the overall enchantment. This special evening was a fitting tribute to our director and mentor, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delightful dining experience!

   We wanted to try this place so we made a reservation. The restaurant was very nice inside. The decor was cute and cozy and the atmosphere was very relaxing and enjoyable. We loved everything we ate, the flavors were amazing and the portions were perfect. It wasn’t like some fine dining where you feel like you’re paying an arm and leg for hardly any food. Our waitress was very kind. We were in one of the jail cell rooms. We loved having our own little space, but it does come with the disadvantage that you’re not always seen by your server so they may take a little longer to refill drinks and check in. We loved watching the bartender make drinks from our seats though.

   Other than the music being too loud making everyone have to yell, we had a great time. I was surprised that the downstairs was closed and they seated my party of 6 in the bar area, but we still had a great time, great food and drinks.

   Lovely meal and great service...it was Thanksgiving and we really appreciated the staff working for our benefit. Definitely go back another time or too.

    The food here was absolutely incredible. The service was efficient, but our servers seemed very serious. It wasn’t a problem, though, as they got the job done and made sure we were taken care of. Overall, the food alone makes this place worth visiting!
