    Very disappointed by the Christmas experience. We didn’t expect that the advertised Julbord-style Christmas experience would turn out to be a literal hotel-style buffet. I‘m confident that the usual Ekstedt menu is great but poor choices were made for their christmas menu.

    Overall we were a little disappointed. The food wasn’t memorable, nothing stood out or packed great flavours. The theatre of going into the kitchen for the oyster course was a nice touch.

    This was an excellent meal and evening out. The food is fantastic. A thoughtful mix between experimental, unusual and the familiar, all presented beautifully. I would highly recommend trying this place.

    Wonderful evening spent at Ekstedt at the Yard. Perfect food, wine and outstanding service from start to finish. Lovely touch from the chef demonstrating how he cooks his oysters over flame. Best tasting menu I’ve ever had and I’ll be coming back again when the seasonal menu changes.
