    El lugar es hermoso y el servicio es excelente. La comida es mediocre. No tuvieron la primera opción, que era cerdo. La carne no fue el corte que pedí, estaba magra, sin grosor uniforme, y mal cocida. La hamburguesa insípida y seca. Los tacos no tenían tuétano, y el puré no tenía nada más que papa. Los cocteles muy diluidos.

    I was so excited to try Carlos Valdez’s new restaurant, as I am a huge fan of Tatanka and take out-of-town guests there regularly. The food was excellent (5 stars), and the service was horrible (1 star), probably the worst I’ve experienced in Baja. There were only three tables, yet it took about 30 minutes to get our drinks. The cocktails were fresh and delicious. After 45 minutes, we still had not been given food menus. I waived down a server who seemed surprised. The menu was two separate pages and confusing. Different specials, sides and desserts on both one-sided sheets of paper. We had to ask which specials were appetizers since the word entrada/entrantes wasn’t used. About 90 minutes into the experience, our cocktail glasses were empty, and we had never been offered water. We asked for a wine list and waters when the appetizers arrived. About 30 minutes later, after we were finished with the first course, we asked for the wine list yet again. We ordered two bottles of wine right as the main courses arrived, a white and a rose. Both were barely cool, so we had to ask for more ice. My husband saw the waiter putting single ice cubes into the marble bottle holder at the bar. Neither of the servers who waited on us seemed like they have ever worked in a restaurant or been properly trained. When we asked for more water, they brought a tray of new glasses rather than using a pitcher to refill. The Thai fish bowl was exceptional, one of the best dishes I’ve enjoyed in my four years of living in La Paz. The baked cheese appetizer was very good and unusual. My friends also loved their seafood carpaccio. The side of creamed spinach with bacon was to die for. The octopus was hit and miss—we ordered one as an appetizer and two as main courses. The second two tasted like they’d been prepared with the first order and then sat in the kitchen for an hour until the rest of our food was ready. Three hours into this dinner, we were begging for our check.

    Excelente atención y servicio por parte del personal. Muy buen menú de vinos que maridan perfecto con el menú. El lugar es formidable, tuve la oportunidad de llegar antes y pasar al pool bar a tomar un buen trago. Lo recomiendo, próxima ocasión haré el Daypass. Felicidades!

    Una experiencia increible en este maravilloso restaurante localizado adentro de Orchid House Baja. La comida deliciosa y el chef Carlos Valdez se acerco a la mesa a darnos muy buena atencion durante la cena. Super recomendado el lugar en tu visita a La Paz, Baja California Sur.

    Mi familia y yo vivimos una tarde muy agradable y una experiencia deliciosa. De entrada éramos un grupo muy grande de 18 personas, todos con gustos distintos y expectativas altas. Nos recibieron como en casa, con un servicio cálido y atento. Conocemos la comida del Chef y nos dio muchísimo gusto poder experimentar un nuevo enfoque y un nuevo menú. Todo envuelto en un entorno inmejorable, visitas de impacto, platillos deliciosos y gran compañía.

    En lo personal no fue lo esperado. El servicio estuvo pésimo para 5 personas que estuvimos en área de alberca durante toda la tarde. Nunca ofrecieron ningún tipo de menú, lo solicitamos múltiples veces y sin éxito. La carta de alimentos es muy limitada, imposible consumir el costo del daypass con la limitación del menú. L Mencionan que en sábado el daypass termina a las 12:00 estando ahí mencionaron que a las 6:00pm por ende si te sobra dinero después de ese tiempo ya no los utilizar. La alberca se encontraba bastante sucia. Al llegar mencionaron que ella cena estaba incluida y al llegar la hora nos menciona que no. En resumen mi pareja y yo no logramos acabarnos los 4,000 pesos de 12:30 a 6:30. En esta ocasión este lugar no lo recomiendo, somos fan del chef Carlos Valdez y creo es mejor consumir en su restaurante.
