   This was a wonderful dining experience! You can go dressed up or quasi casual (preferably no gym shorts). The music can seem a little loud so if you're with someone that has a hard time hearing, you've been warned. However, if you're young you will enjoy it. I do recommend the Elegante experience, it is a little pricey but hey, you go for the experience of Mexican food not TexMex fajitas (and I love fajitas!).

   The food and atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing. The servers are very informative of the ingredients and process to cooking the food. We tried the charred octopus, refried lentils, and el machete. The charred octopus was my favorite!

   We went here for my husband’s birthday and had never been before. It did now disappoint! We’re both vegetarian and the dishes we had were all amazing! Our favorite was the maza dish with butternut squash. We also had the key lime dessert and they gave my husband a Mexican chocolate dessert also for his birthday. Both were so very delicious! The cocktails were also very good, well balanced and the waiter did an excellent job of pairing them with meal. The service was outstanding, never lacking anything. The waiter was knowledgeable and accommodated our requests with ease and fluidity. We definitely would like to come back!

   El Carlos Elegante truly gets everything right. The staff make you feel welcome and taken care of without being overbearing. The food? Incredible—every dish is packed with flavor and looks amazing. And the atmosphere is just perfect, cozy yet classy. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to keep coming back to.

    Exceeded expectations! Fantastic dishes and great service. The music is too loud for the space. Other than that, highly recommend.
