My wife and I were frankly disappointed by our visit to Corazon del Mar. On the plus side, the welcome was nice. The service was quick and attentive. The ambience was ok and there were some nice touches, like a lovely plate of tortilla chips with an assortment of very nice sauces. So far so good. We started with ceviche, which was ample and nicely presented. But it had clearly been crafted at the moment, and the sauce was not acidic enough to “cook” the fish quickly. In fact the flavor, while not bad, was lackluster. Just not enough flavor. We both ordered Mojara, thinking we were going to get the wild caught variety. This was clearly farm raised tilapia, with a very strong muddy taste. This could have been our mistake, because mojara can mean different fish in different places. Mine was ok, but not great. The tamarind sauce was delicious and covered up the flavor of the fish. My wife couldn’t eat hers and ended up getting a different dish. The octopus a Diablo, which was chewy and unexciting. Overall, we were not impressed by the food and are unlikely to return.

El servicio muy lento a pesar de el lugar no estaba lleno . Los meseros Cassandra y Erik muy atentos . No volvería

Restaurant food was delicious! Order the tostada. For the seafood tower to share, it’s very big for 2 people. I would recommend this tower be shared with a party of 3-4

Somos clientes de corazón de mar desde sus inicios en ambas sucursales. Pero nos gusta más el ambiente del roof. En cuestión de servicio del personal, ambiente, instalaciones todo sigue siendo de 5 estrellas. Sin embargo de un tiempo para acá no todos los platillos son los mismo, el pulpo, salmón, atún y mojarra ahora vienen en presentaciones más pequeñas. Hoy comimos mojarra sarandeada y al parecer se les pasó de tiempo porque venía quemada por las orillas, no era doradita, era incomible. Al final El personal resolvió de la mejor manera y eso se agradece.

Even though a reservation was made the place was closed for the employees’ NY party . They were polite when informing us about it, but it left us in a difficult spot
