Our overall experience was great! Enrique was very attentive and served with a pleasant attitude. I listed the noise level on the high side only because there was live music happening during our visit. The empanadas were a big hit at the table and the Tamarindo Spritz was delicious!

We attended a Friday night dinner with live music and dancing while the restaurant was celebrating their third anniversary. So much fun. The food is amazing and the music was incredible. Empanadas and Ropa Vieja. We left CLT and were in Miami or Havana! Drinks are definitely on the pricey side and that added up quickly! Otherwise a fabulous date night!

Menu is very limited for a Cuban Restaurant. No Boliche, No Picadillo, No Palomilla, No Pork Chunks, No Tasajo. Rice and Beams are separate add Ons, same with Yuca and Tostones. No Flan de Vainilla. Dinner for 1 person comes out to $50 for a Dinner place. Best reasonable selection is the Cuban Sandwich, comes with fries, add a beer and Cuban coffee and you are out for $37.

This was my second time here. My son came from Atlanta and wanted to take our family to dinner. Of all the places I’ve come to love, in CLT, El Puro was my first choice! The food, ambience and customer service are top notch. Comfortable seating, welcoming staff and live music make it complete. It’s a vibe and I’ll be back!
