My husband and I are plant based eaters and it’s so hard to find high quality vegan food. Too bad you are so far away from us. I hope you consider opening up a restaurant in Winston-Salem. Mt Airy desperately needs a place like Element.

Not their fault but the music from the outdoor street festival was overbearing and mixed with their base heavy interior music, it was not pleasant. We had the flatbread/ pizza which was soggy and really not good. Neither of us finished it. I have had good food before but this was a bust visit.

I decided to celebrate a small victory of mine and chose Element Gastropub. I’m glad I made the choice. First, my server was absolutely amazing and she was able to explain the food options so deliciously. I ordered the barbecue nachos, the smashed burger with vinegar fries, and also the Philly cheesesteak. Each of those dishes were sooo good! And of course, I finished my dinner with a chocolate chip cookie that was the perfect ending. I will definitely be back to Element Gastropub and encourage my friends to come along next time. It was definitely worth the drive from Greensboro. Thank you!

I wish I could rate the food, but we never actually got a chance to order any. The truth is we (party of 3) arrived promptly for a 6:45pm reservation, were seated relatively quickly but waited about 20 minutes to be able to order drinks. The wrong drink was brought to me (I drank it, don’t judge me), and then 10-15 min later I received the correct one. We did a lot of waiting and, unfortunately, our server was MIA for much of the time we sat and waited, though we made the best of it. We ultimately had to leave or risk being late to the concert we were in town to see. To be fair, this was a busy Friday night and I imagine they are dealing with staffing shortages like so many other places. I don’t have any recommendations for improving the experience (I know nothing about the food/foodservice industry, lol) other than maybe don’t allow so many reservations or communicate better when people arrive *on time* for their reservation…? The best part was someone bringing the check and extra booze for our to go cups (the sip & stroll option is legit) because we were so chill about the service. Drinks were good… recommend the chai old fashioned. I’d truly love to have tried the food (we were SO excited for the all veg menu!!) as I’m sure it probably would’ve been outstanding. Maybe next time… 🫶
