   Music is set slightly too high (Saturday night 7/8pm) and this forces people to have to talk too loud which detracts from the busy but still chilled ambience. Could do with a few more simple dishes on the menu for when you are hungry but don’t want particularly fancy

   A very special valentines breakfast with my wife and out two cocker spaniels. Great atmosphere for 10.30 on a Sunday morning. The venue was buzzing with chatter. Guitarist was playing great tunes. Food was expertly presented and tasted delicious. Highly recommend this place.

   The ambience at Elkwater has to be experienced. The decor, the friendliness of the staff, the quick service & the quality of the food are top notch. It is a pity that they don’t expand the restaurant as the boutique shop is hardly used. More dining tables would be great.

    Service was excellent - very efficient. Food fresh and tasty, not huge portions. It was quite noisy but still able to have a conversation. Very pleasant atmosphere.
