   We love this restaurant and always enjoy going there. But last night the service was awful. It took forever for our server to take our order and serve our drinks. Then he served two of the three dinners with my dinner coming long after the first two arrived. We ordered a second drink that didn’t come till we were finished with dinner. When I commented on these drinks being more like dessert since we were finished with our entrees, he said well yeah Grand Marnier is a good dessert drink (2 of us ordered the Palmilla margarita that has Grand Marnier as an ingredient). He never came back and it was too late to send our drinks back. He was unapologetic, the pace was awful, it created tension at our table in what should have been a fun, festive night. Bad, disappointing experience at this local restaurant we generally love for its ambiance, excellent food and great margaritas. Not sure I’d want to risk it again. Oh, and my view from my table straight to the men’s urinal in 2 of the restrooms wasn’t very pleasant either. I never sat at this table in this position before. Disgusting. You really should do something about this.

   I don’t understand the appeal. Tables are crammed together, the service is mediocre, food is nothing special and it’s overpriced.

   The food was delicious, we ordered ceviche a las tres maneras as an appetizer and the 3 ceviches were really good and came along with plantain chips. The tacos de pesacado and fajitas were also very tasty, we enjoyed the feast. Portions are small, but we did not feel hungry afterwards. The decor was stylish and inviting. Earthy tones made the space visually appealing. However, the noise level was overwhelming. We were 4 people and we ended up having 2 separate conversations or had to yell in order to hear each other. The chairs were big for the space, and i was elbow to elbow with the next table guest. Behing me i had a guest sneezing on my neck all the time. Not ideal. We were seated inside but the A/C was on to the point that we didnt remove our jackets. The temperature was more comfortable outside or near the door with the heaters on. So all and all, we enjoyed the food but the noise and the A/C made our visit less than perfect.
