Espíritu in New Orleans is a celebration of the food, drinks, history, and culture of Mexico.

Espíritu was created from a desire to share our passion for Mexican agave spirits and Mexican cuisine. We use the freshest local ingredients for our dishes, and focus on environmental sustainability when sourcing our mezcal and tequila.

Very quiet, most likely due to the time we went, just before Friday night parades rolled. Service was a little inattentive but otherwise fine. Food arrived very fast. One of the best fish tacos we've ever had. didn't care for the crawfish queso (too much sour cream and not enough queso). Took the elote to-go, and it was great even cold the next day. Would love to see a larger menu from this place (once supply chains are stable, prices level and covid restrictions are eased).

The tacos and margaritas were amazing! We had one of each of the tacos. I highly recommend the cauliflower tacos. The elote was phenomenal, we were practically licking the bowl. Cool ambiance with local artists featured throughout the restaurant.

This is an amazing restaurant. The food is incredible. If you are not into Mezcal, this is the place to go - very informative. This will be my go-to stop whenever I am in NOLA.

The interior alone is worth a stop. It's incredibly beautiful. Our server was outstanding. My margaritas were exactly how I like them. My husband loved the mezcal flight. The only thing I didn't like was that the tacos came on a flour tortilla. I prefer corn and think the flavor was a little overpowered by the thickness of the wrap.

Great experience. The street tacos and margaritas were fabulous, the street corn the best ever. I like a sweeter margarita so they added a little simple syrup which made it perfect!!! Highly recommend ❤️
