We had a party of 5.. some of the party was a little late, but the staff was very accommodating. It was the first.time.for all of us in the group, and the waitress was very helpful and assisted with each of our drink selections as well as our meals. The holiday decor was just right, festive but not overdone. The Blackberry Smash and Huckleberry Bourbon cocktails were the hot topic of the night. The food was A-Mazing!!! Porkchops were tender and cooked to perfection, the ravioli was not what was expected but lasted phenomenal and, of course, had to order the French oinon soup, which would be in my top two. No pictures.. we were in the moment enjoying the food and company.

For many years this has been and continues to be one of our favorite restaurants. The service is excellent and the food reliably good. It reminds me of a neighborhood restaurant in France and the baguette they serve is the best I’ve had outside of France. We’ll definitely keep coming back.

Excellent atmosphere, great service, and excellent traditional French cuisine. We enjoyed the pate, and the caviar service was very good.

The mussels and salad were delicious. Consistently wonderful and happy that it's walking distance from my home, especially since parking is so challenging.

Et Voila. C'est magnifique!... love it ... it is great French food done in the classic techniques... not something you find in every dining place in SD. Let me say... I am a big Foodie... and this place does it right. Enjoy the Steak Frites, or the Onion Soup, or the Canard... all good. And Ludo is an amazing owner / Maitre'D Love this place... Go, enjoy. and take your friends.

Service is quick and efficient and friendly. Cocktails refreshing, specially cucumber gimlet. So many delicious food options. Delicious caviar with all the accompaniments. The steak tartare was amazing. The pate’s melt in your mouth. best escargot I’ve had in San Diego. The winter mushroom soup is so hearty and creamy. And a surprise grand Marnier soufflé for my birthday dessert was amazing.

Et Voilà! was amazing. There was an exceptional selection of appetizers and entrees, and everything we had was artfully prepared and delicious. We chose this restaurant based on previous reviews, and it didn't disappoint. We look forward to returning on our next visit to San Diego.

Corckage policy is really bad While we understand the restaurant needs to be profitable, there is much more to be made by relaxing the corckage policy
Et Voilà! French Bistro - San DiegoResponded 3 days ago
Thank you Martin for sharing your feedback. While we obviously disagree with your statement regarding our corkage policy, we believe it is more than fair and stand by it. We are proud to offer a carefully curated wine list featuring over 150 selections, ranging from $35 to $1100, thoughtfully chosen to pair perfectly with our menu. As a restaurant, we are not required to accept outside wine, but we do so under a clearly stated policy, ensuring our guests know what to expect when choosing to bring their own bottle. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed our food, service, and ambiance during your visit. We truly appreciate you giving us the opportunity to serve you and hope to welcome you again soon.
