   Charbroiled oysters were cold. Main courses were good, but it seems like the sides are just afterthoughts and just thrown on the plate. Steaks were cooked nicely. Ordered wine with entrees that arrived at the table just before we got the check to leave. Obviously, that’s a problem and overall service was meh. The whole experience was just meh. There’s potential here but it needs refinement.

   Food is always outstanding!!! Had my step daughter in from England with us and she has dairy allergies. Evergreen was quite understanding and ensured she was choosing g appropriate food. We all had the wagyu beef!!! Tasty as always. The only thing I will do next time is , like my step daughter I would have the cheese removed from the asparagus. Had a bit too much baked cheese on it…still very good but I’d rather do without it. This was our (wife and I) fifth time there and is one of our favorite places.

   Service was horrible. Waited 25 minutes after we were seated before anyone came and took our drink order. Ordered both of the steak dishes medium rare. Wagyu was overcooked and the Angus was very chewy. Server never checked on us until we were almost finished. Showed her the wagyu was overcooked and she said “you should have told us”. If no one checks on us, how are we to tell them. Complete waste of money. Do not go here. I’ll never go again.

   Great food but the service was an overall mess. Waiters didn’t make eye contact, they served our food to the wrong table… our appetizer came out as our dessert. Won’t be back.

   Beautifully decorated, comfortable seating, and delicious food. We enjoyed our brunch. We always love supporting a local, farm to table restaurant.

   Everything about my visit to Evergreen was incredible. The food was delicious, some of the best Fish and Grits I have ever eaten. The design and decor made for a great atmosphere, and the staff was amazing all the way around. I recently used Evergreen for a proposal and had the most helpful and invested staff/ownership that I could have asked for. The day could not have turned out any better! My new fiancé and I will definitely be returning.

   Evergreen never disappoints! Drinks, especially martinis and old fashions, are always excellent and the bartender, Anna, is fantastic. Food was amazing- our group had fish, a steak, and the lamb pesto pasta which was very flavorful and light. Everything was delicious as usual!

    A perfect evening! Everything was exceptional, beginning with the drinks, to the delicious dinner, and including the service. The oysters are my favorite! We went back a second night during our visit to Ocean Springs just because of the oysters. Don’t miss the frog legs. For my entree I chose the red grouper and loved every bite.
