Had a great brunch! We haven't been here in over two years, as our last experience wasn't so great. But we were pleasantly surprised. Ethan did a great job taking care of us. We'll definitely be back.

We used to love this place and dine frquenntly but it’s just not the same. We gave it one last chance. The full menu is evidently only available a few days each week. The reduced menu isn’t worth it- leaving us with hamburgers and pizza options. Despite being empty, our appetizer was slammed out with our meal, signaling this would not be a relaxing dining experience but a grab n go meal. One of our meals came out 10 minutes after the rest. This is no longer my choice for an elevated dining option.

If you are on the fence just go! We loved our meal and the shakshuka meatballs will be in my dreams for a while. I meatballs are stuffed and are a family recipe that’s been in the family for 100 years! It comes with three meatballs and about 5-6 slices of bread. Entrees are a little pricey but worth the money. The brussels sprouts are amazing and a large portion. My husband and I barely ate even half after having the meatballs and some of our entrees. My husband says next visit he will get just the meatballs as his entree! Okay 75 percent of this review was about the meatballs…, The ambiance was nice. Music was really calming. They played jazz versions of pop songs. The restaurant is beautiful with all the glass chandeliers. Our server was so sweet! Dessert was yummy. The dessert menu changes every week so it’s not written down. Pro tip: check out the glass case when you arrive to be seated as the dessert options are on display there!

It was lovely. Just a few missed service details. When offering “food for the table” it should come with a serving spoon and personal bowls. Sharing a soup out of one bowl is odd. Also, as a server, if you dribble wine down the glass when you pour it and it makes a puddle on the table - offer to wipe it off and not just walk away.

We had a reservation for 12:00 New Years day. We were seated at the second booth close to the door. I asked if we could sit in the main dining room because cold air coming in and was told we could not sit in there. There were many open tables. Our server appeared quit jew with minimal conversation and did not explain about the brunch menu. The first and second course was amazing! The bruschetta toast was too hard to eat. The main course was good but I tasted too much lemon in Shrimp and grits. The dessert plate was delicious and so pretty.

First day I went there food was pretty good but the service was atrocious with only 6 tables and 4-5 servers it took me 10 minutes to get water and 20 minutes after we finished our food to get our check the waiter was what looked like showing videos to another waiter on a tablet the whole night and made however good the food was into a pain to get through. The second day we went for the New Years course menus and the service was much much better with more tables full, but the food was either extremely bland, cold,(like the chicken and waffles) or absurdly salty with no other seasonings or a mix of the three. For 200+ I expected a lot more and was extremely disappointed. The desserts were the one thing that were really good and the pastries.

We've been to two brunches since my last review about our dinner dining experience in early November. Both brunches have been delicious and the staff much friendlier and helpful than in past visits. The changes management has made shows that they care and take customer feedback seriously. It has certainly renewed our loyalty and love for the vineyard. The egg, salad, meat, and side dishes were very tasty and overall the ambience and environment makes for a wonderful dining experience. However, I'd stay away from the sourdough bread appetizers or entrees as these dishes continue to need some refining. Overall, Farmers Commons is a great choice to enjoy the vineyard and all its beauty. So I'd recommend planning a leisurely day to enjoy all the Vineyard at Florence has to offer.
