   7 people for dinner and everything was lovely. Excellent service and great food. Had to change numbers attending, and they were very accommodating Would definitely recommend.

   Great food, lovely staff but extremely noisy today with very large groups. We were in at 1pm,quietened down by after 2 so may have been workers but an awful lot for a Thursday!

   Lively atmosphere, busy restaurant, immediate welcome greeting and shown to our table. Drinks order taken and delivered promptly. Waiter advised on food and our order was taken and in what seemed no time the food arrived . We thought it might have been delayed due to the restaurant being busy. Good tasty selection of dishes. Lovely white wine to accompany it. A pleasurable experience all round.

   Lovely place, disappointed with the pork souvlaki it was tasteless and the meat was very thin and dry more like a kebab.

   I really enjoyed my first visit to Fava. A beautiful restaurant with delicious food and really patient and helpful service. The waitress gave us some fantastic recommendations which we thoroughly enjoyed.

   I always make a point of visiting Fava when I'm in Edinburgh as it has always provided excellent food. However, on this most recent visit I'm sad to say that while still tasty, the food portions seem to have shrunk considerably. I didn't mind paying the relatively high menu prices for a decent portion of food but was left feeling disappointed by the offerings on this occasion, which required spending more to get sides to make up for the small mains.
