Of the two dining spaces at Cotswold House, Fig Restaurant, recently awarded 2 Rosettes for our culinary excellence, encapsulates fine dining and enables the hotel’s dedicated and highly talented kitchen team to demonstrate their considerable flair and imagination.
The kitchen team take their inspiration from the generous local larder and source ingredients from passionate producers based nearby, from which they buy fantastic ingredients such as local cheeses, wholesome fresh breads and quality meats from the Cotswolds region.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the Fig. The food and wine flight were excellent as was the service. Sadly they had had a few bookings move into the bistro so there was only one other table in the restaurant which meant that there was not much atmosphere but that didn't detract from the great food.

Food looks the part but didn’t live up to its looks I’m afraid. The wine flight wasn’t good value and half of the courses had no wine accompaniment.

Good value for money Attentive staff Delicious food, although should have chosen smaller tasting menu as both my husband and I were defeated by quantity of food

Stunning in every respect - food, service, presentation, atmosphere. Stefan, who looked after us all evening, did a first class job and was utterly charming, thoughtful and switched on. We had the 8 course taster menu - every course was sublime - and equated to A LOT of food. It was wonderful. Top marks. Very expensive but you get what you pay for!

The dinner was an anniversary celebration for my wife and I. We were greeted by staff and had a leisurely glass of fizz in the well appointed snug. The six course dinner was of high quality and was accompanied by a bottle of Italian white (sadly a bit warm). The whole experience was very pleasurable.

Food was better than expected. Service good, but ambience is diminished by near empty dining room. I think prices are too high for this market.
