   Quality of the food was great, but we chose lobster which was not available - seemed a bit weird for a fish and seafood restaurant. We had to ask for a spoon to eat the chowder, and waited too long for our beverages to be served or poured. Understaffing seems to be a problem for what I consider a high priced restaurant on the Geelong waterfront. We spend 323 dollars for three people to dine out with wines, 2-3 courses.

   Hi Colin, We’re glad you enjoyed the food quality. You had ordered the Lobster & Prawn Gnocchi from our special's. We use Lobster Tails for that dish, and due to high demand, we sold our during service and updated the specials the next day. I’d like to reassure you that we receive live lobsters daily, and had plenty in our cool rooms that evening as they are a popular item on our menu being we are a Seafood Restaurant. While we always aim to staff appropriately, we had quite an unpredictable volume that evening which lead to slower service than we would like, and we do sincerely apologise for the delay with your beverages and the need to request a spoon.    The food and service were fantastic. We had the Seafood Chowder, which although wasn't quite as good as the last time here, it was still good. We had some Oysters Bloody Mary style, and Kilpatric. They oysters were super fresh (as was all of the seafood). Also, the Seafood Platter (btwn 3), was awesome! Will definitely be back and so obviously would recommend to anyone who loves Seafood!!

   Came here with a group of 6. Service was smooth and food came out in a timely fashion. This is our second visit. Here from Canberra for the Avalon Air show. Will be back again in 2 years! The food is incredible!!!

   Seafood platter worth every cent. Well worth the experience. Staff very professional and cheerful. Highly recommend and will be back.

   Great seafood but 1of our orders was supposed to be lobsters mornay came out as lobster in garlic butter to not waste the the meal I accepted but no discount or complimentary drinks was offered next time. It will be sent back for my right order but 10/10

    Took nearly 40min for the ordered food to be served, then the first menu delivered on our table was incorrect. When all the other ordered menu was on the table we were approached by the restaurant assistance to advise that they have a change of chef and that either to accept the first menu delivered on our table or I have to wait for another 20-30minutes. I was very disappointed with this despite them offering a free drink with the unwanted menu. I did not have a choice but to eat what they served me, it’s a disgusting baby snapper overflowing with buttery sauce. Sorry but will never recommend and will never eat in this restaurant again when we go Geelong.
