   We loved FWD. Great little restaurant with fun cocktails and absolutely delicious seafood. We enjoyed a few oysters, the Peruvian scallops (do not miss these) and then the shrimp boil and steamed mussels. Service was great, food was great. 10/10. Go eat here!

   Delicious as always. I had a half dozen oysters, their Peruvian scallops, jumbo shrimp and a Hamachi collar. All were amazing.

   We had the crab cakes, squash rolls, Caesar salad and oysters. Everything was delicious and great service!

   Great spot in all the action of MB. You can see the ocean from here. Parking isn’t too bad for MB, there’s a couple of lots above. It’s very small and tight, so be prepared to be cozy. The seafood is remarkably fresh and tasty. I didn’t think the shrimp was that fresh, but the Maine lobster and King Crab were delightfully natural. The Sea Bass was organically prepared with crisp vegetables and flavorful orzo. I ate the best New England clam chowder with actual clams in their shell in it—astounding. The cocktails were fresh and invigorating—I recommend the Cardi B. Service was ok. It’s a tight space. Our server had the MB snobbery going on, but the other staff were attentive and helpful. The Key Lime pie was the best I have had with an inventive presentation—toasted whip cream, and I rarely eat Key Lime pie. Overall, this is a great place to chill by the beach, impress a client, or romance your loved one. I enjoyed the meal tremendously and will be back.

   Quite simply an amazing experience; the entire staff was friendly and attentive. Our server was fantastic, sorry I don’t recall her name. She was polite, friendly, engaging, knowledgeable, and made us feel so welcome. The food was excellent, from the Peruvian scallops to the pretzel bread pudding (an absolute must have). Would recommend FWD to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Manhattan Beach!

   Amazing! Most delicious seafood. Every dish was terrific. Great service, wonderful ambience, cozy restaurant. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back.

    One of my favorites got ruined by a waitress who just kept pushing me to order. By the fourth time, pushing for drinks, apps, dessert, etc. I about had it. Instead of enjoying my friends from out of town, I was stressed having a waitress hover over me (we were right next to the waitress stand!) and take a nice relaxing experience and make it a bad one. Too bad!!
