After waiting 30 min for our order, we were informed that they had lost the order. So, a late arrival to the Thunder game.

The crab cakes, scallops and salmon were fantastic! Our server was attentive, but gave us plenty of time and space. We’ll definitely be back.

Overall we were disappointed. Normally I only write good reviews. We were on a tight timeline and others in our group never even got their full meals before we had to leave. Our server was nice, but not attentive and when we needed him he was no where to be found. My wife had the eggs Benedict which were just OK. They did not compare to our benchmark @ The Ahwahnee in Yosemite. My poor boy shrimp sandwich was good. The ambience and decor were very nice.

Our server was amazing!! The food, however, was overpriced and just okay as far as taste. We got Caesar salads with a couple of appetizers. The lettuce was the core white pieces only without any greens. I was starving so I ate it, but it lacked in taste and texture. It was by far the worst Caesar I’ve ever had and they charged way too much for too small of a portion for what I consider the lettuce leftovers. Extremely disappointing. My sister only took two bites, eating the cheese only. I won’t be back. The only redeeming quality was our server, who was sweet, thoughtful and tried hard. She forgot about bringing us a couple of things, but I didn’t care because of her kind heart and warm personality.

Great steaks- We got the filet and ribeye and both were delicious and cooked great. Great wine selection. They offer a small menu and we didn’t hear of any featured items if they do offer them. We started with the artichoke dip which was good, not the best ever. The cheese was melted on top, but the dip wasn’t really hot on the inside (just warm.) we followed the dip with a dinner salad which was your average joe type dinner salad, but the Caesar salad came out with wilted soggy lettuce (think got too cold in the fridge and turned yuck.) we hated to do it, but we had to send it back and ask for fresh lettuce. The replacement salad came out heavily dressed and covered with shaved Parmesan so they either disguised it well or just went over the top to make it “great.” Overall, FLINT was good. Our server was really nice and we never went without a drink refill or replacement. 3 stars feels appropriate as quality control could use improvement. For a nearly $200 meal before tip, I wasn’t blown away. Not sure I’d give it another try as you can find great steaks all over OKC that also offer crave-able salads, sides and starters. One thing that was absolutely perfect was my date and I’m grateful for the night we had away from the kids focusing on quality time together. Thank you for kindling that!

The food was great and our waiter was good. The only issue and it’s frustrating is that neither our server nor the manager knew how to use our collected opentable points for payment. They said it worked and I’m unclear if the point payment went through. They brought a ticket for me for the full price and said, “don’t worry the actual charge on my bank card would reflect the discounted price from my opentable credit. It did not. I may have been charged twice because we can’t see if the opentable balance was consumed. To add to the frustration, this is the third attempt to use opentable points. The first two times the restaurant admitted to not knowing how and then this time they, may have just outright lied about it.

I haven’t been here in a few months. It is so much better than I recall. The menu has skewed toward more expensive and fancier items but everything we had was delicious. Our server, Kyle, I think, was top notch with just the right amount of chit chat and attention. Would highly recommend before any downtown activities

If you like salty food, this place is for you. Valentine’s Day was the day prior but we were still stuck with a Valentine’s Day limited menu. Everything was cooked nicely but it was a lot of salt. I especially enjoyed the lobster. My whipped potatoes were not hot. Tepid at best. My husband did not care for his meal at all. His grits were old and veal was chewy. The drinks were good. Service left much to be desired as she never checked on us after we got our food until it was to bring the bill. The hostess clearly hates her job. Not friendly.

I love food and love trying new places. I am not a picky person, either. I chose Flint because the place was close to my house, it looked really nice in the pictures. We planned for a nice evening and were dressed nicely for a Valentine's date. I will say the drinks were good but very expensive for what we got (I expected this since it was at the Fint). She had a Grey Goose Cape Cod, and I had an Old Fashioned with Larceny Bourbon. For starters my wife ordered a Caesar salad, and it had brown, wilted lettuce in it (she picked it out without complaint). I ordered the Lobster Bisque, and it was good, not great. My wife played it safe for dinner and ordered a Chicken Fried steak with smashed potatoes. It was good, but we could have gotten just as good, if not better, at Del Rancho. I ordered the Duck, it was a French name, so I have no idea what it was called. The sweet sauce was the only redeeming factor in the meal. However, overall, it truly was subpar. I had never had duck before, so I ordered it at a fine dining establishment. My dad always said duck tasted like mud, and unfortunately, he was right. There was no enjoyable part of the meat. The wing and leg were disgusting, and the breast was barely edible. I ended up leaving about 3/4 of a $48 dish sitting on the table. FYI, it did not come with any side, just half of a duck, some sauce, and a sprig of rosemary. The server came by several times and asked how things were, but since we were on a date, I didn't say anything. I think he should have known by the fact I ate very little it was not good. Anyway, I was not impressed with the Flint Kitchen. I talked to friends about it, and they heard the same thing. However, they were told breakfast and lunch are supposed to be excellent. Hope this helps.
