   I would not say the noise level was energetic but rather loud. The acoustics of the dining room were not favorable for conversation.

   The ambiance was wonderful - the setting, the colors and the views were delightful. We were not acknowledged when we arrived at the Studio bar and it took about 5 minutes before the bartender - not the server - came to take our order - and the Bar was not busy. Our server and the Sommelier were attentive and friendly. The 3-course menu was good value. The oysters were delicious, the steak tartare needed more flavor (perhaps a dash of Worcestershire sauce or jalapeno pepper?), the halibut was perfectly cooked, the cherry tomatoes and the olives that accompanied it should have been warm, not cold; the chicken paillard was well cooked but bland; the mushroom soup was good and needed a stronger mushroom flavor; the desserts were delicious. Will definitely return.

   The restaurant is absolutely stunning and the staff are lovely. The food was very good and pretty much as I expected. The fish is excellent and my friends said their food was also very good.

   Lovely dinner in a beautiful space with a fantastic waitress, BUT linguini special with shaved truffles and caviar arrived with no caviar . Delicious but disappointing $52 special entree.

    Food was excellent, as always (our 4th visit)- Service outstanding! Pre-meal cocktails in the first floor lounge always a treat!! Our go-to place in Newport
