Florina’s Greek Tavern has recently moved to Elsternwick. When you leave the street and enter Florina’s, you feel as though you are in the Greek Islands or a tavern in Athens. The new restaurant has a beautiful ambiance with a mix traditional and modern decor.

Diners have the option of ordering directly from the menu or choosing a set menu.
Just choose when you come in.

We are fully licensed offering a range of local and Greek options. The option to BYO wine is also available.

Many diners comment that they feel like they are eating in someone’s home rather than a restaurant. Great for an intimate dinner for two, a larger group or even a function!

Originally I ordered flounder which came not properly cleaned from scales when I complained about it first of all I was told that this is normal to have scales left on skin but when I rejected this I was offered replacement meal . To make it quicker so I can eat at the same time with everyone else I was offered chicken meat. This was most overcooked and tasteless chicken I have had to eat. When we were playing bill I was charged for this chicken $25 without any apologies or discounts for replacing my order with something I never wanted in a first place. This is not a place we would recommend or come back to

Everything about eating at Florina’s Greek Tavern is outstanding from the food to the service. Once you have eaten there you will want to go right back to do it again and again!!

Great food and excellent service, we were welcomed as soon as we entered seated and looked after professionally. Ordered our food which came within 15 minutes, quality and flavours were like dining in a Greek taverna in Greece. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience, will go back to this restaurant.
